Hey Im not sure if this is the right place to put it

But I was wondering what the little LBP items under someones name

that relate to if you are Sackboy a peice of lint, or a patch of cloth.

What does that mean and how do you get more

Never really noticed any connection, although there probably is.

Actually, yes. It is directly related to post count. There is a vBulletin mod titled vBExperience that uses a mathematical algorithm to determine someone's rank(it takes pretty much everything into account, including usefulness of their posts) to determine someone's rank around here. Now, if we want a ranking system, that one is more accurate and doesn't encourage mass posting to get your rank up. It could turn out to be pretty useful. It's just a suggestion, though, so let me know if you guys disagree with it.

Like a rep system? You can positively or negatively rep someone's post, and give a comment to go along with it?

Also, vbExperience has a store! When you are active, you accumulate points based on how good of a member you are, and from there you can use those points to "purchase" different things from the store! We could have custom avatars, wallpapers, even level packs. That would be cool, in my opinion.

one thing... does it cost anything? I'm all for the feature, but we shoudn't bug lbp to waste more of his money when he has already staked a lot for the contest

Yes, there is a feature which allows you to force the mod to "recount" all of the existing data to date, which, when done upon installation, would make it retroactive.

lbp is interested, as well. I think we could use the store to sell level packs, exclusive wallpapers, even features. You can sell someone the ability to have a larger avatar, or even the ability to edit their custom title. There's tons of options.
