I hate going off a topic but my two cents:

I have seen a few of the other contest levels. They are pretty cool. I don't see why so many people here try to hate on each others levels. I don't think this competition is meant to stress people out. Rather it is about having FUN building! I had fun! Hope you guys do too.

You never know maybe that guy you hate on now COULD HAVE BEEN the guy to help you with your next level.

Anyway let stop now before I keep writing. May the best level win!!!

my level (only when i play at my friends house on his account) has weird yellow/black exclamationmarks replacing two of the holograms in it, and nothing will fix this. even deleting everything but the holograms, making new ones etc. if you do see this, will it be part of your judging score as a negative?
and as a final question, post-contest; can we extend a level, play around with it a bit and submit it as a non-contest level?

I also noticed the search in-Game is buggy sometimes.
Levels always show up in LBP.me though.

So, Do the Judges search for levels using LBP.me or In-Game?

The contest has been a fascinating excuse to delve into the sticky depths of LBP2's engine. Unfortunately, it seems that I have balanced my level much too close to the red line: it works in offline play but seems to have random anomalies when connected to PSN. It feels like I've spent weeks jettisoning cargo just to keep this ship afloat, but it looks like I'll have to throw a few more things overboard to ensure stability for online players.

Hopefully anybody that tries it in the meantime won't get anything too funky going on.

So.. Here i am. Introducing my new Level. CALLED LBPC3 - Pulse of Night
So.. I co-Created it with Itachix00. I tried to make ''unique'' visuals and some bit harder gameplay, but still playable...
Then everybody says like: "Too hard" "More Checkpoints" blah blah blah..
I mean REALLY guys! If it is hard, try again. I rarely meet people that understand the rule : "Rate the level, not your skills".
This level was my first ever made music-Hard-metropolis level, and then everybody comes to cry to comments...
I used like a month to make it, and people just try to find bad things :'(
Guys.. remember the spirit of this competition.

Curiously, when I uploaded my level some of the score givers were producing black score numbers that weren't being attributed to the player. I went back to play my unpublished level and two older copies of the level where the score givers had worked: they all had black score numbers as well!

I tried the obvious solution of running the input to each score giver through an AND gate connected to a controlinator's active output. This seems to have corrected the problem. It's very strange, though, that this step is only necessary when connected to PSN. I don't know if anyone else is likely to have this issue, but I felt it was worth mentioning if only for future forum searchers to stumble upon.

Just went on an epic playthrough of as many entries as I could before my eyes started glassing over.. all I can say is dang!

There's some awesome entries in there! I've gone from having my thumbs smashed against the controller in a fervent attempt to beat a level to enjoying bright and breezy gameplay with beautiful music. What a great playthrough night - great job everyone, and good luck!

woa, its overflowing with levels!!!!!!!!! I've seen some epic levels with awesome beats. I was just wondering when the multiplayer mayhem contest is going to get the results of the winners. Sorry, I'm just curious.

Yeah... It's a sure thing now, I'm pulling out.
I just have hardly any of my level done. hit to many road blocks while creating.
depending on what the theme of the next contest is I may be able to chance it
and put it out for the next contest. would not be hard as hardly any of the level got made anyways~
