if I'm reading you right.
your being a bit rude. it's not really your business how many hours a day a person
wants to play a game for. even if a person wanted to play a game for 30 plus hours without rest,
then they can if they want. I've done it a small handful of times myself~ *mewLast edited by Lord-Dreamerz; 09-12-2011 at 08:22 PM.

You're right, it's not my business...but I wasn't giving an opinion, I merely stated a fact. It's not about how many hours someone wants to play a game, it's actually going through with it that we're talking about here. There are much better things you could be doing in the better part of 30 hours than playing the same game, non-stop.if I'm reading you right.

Playing games for 30 hours straight all the time is one of the many reasons why a high percentage of America is morbidly obese.

I'm skinny and I rarely leave the house. You're right, it's not my business...but I wasn't giving an opinion, I merely stated a fact. Playing games for 30 hours straight all the time is one of the many reasons why a high percentage of America is morbidly obese.
and it's not a fact. what people do with their time of day don't matter.
I'll so called waste my life on games if I want to. and I'm just fine with that.
it's not a waste of a life, long as the person live happily and did not hurt others in order to get their happiness.
then it's all cool. there is never better things you can do with your life. there is only what you think
is the best things you can do in your life. people can tell you all they want how they think you should live.
but no matter what anyone says, no one is right. in any case how you pick to live your life
will be at least at the time the right way to live in that person's opinion. *mewLast edited by Lord-Dreamerz; 09-12-2011 at 08:44 PM.

Figured as much, Nintendo love doing stuff like this. I'm sure the Nintendo 3DSi lite will have the second pad built in. And will probably be out right after this attatchment.
Not hating on Nintendo, I'm a Nintendo/Sony guy. I've had all iterations of the Gameboy, and have a DSi, yet I've never had a PSP. I only hate on Micro$oft... And I do have a 360... that collects dust.

Irrelevant. At no point did I state that you personally were overweight.
These statements directly contradict eachother.
Yes, happiness is important. But you also have to think of what you have (or have not) accomplished in your life. If you contemplate these things, depending on what kind of person you are, happiness will begin to decay. A so-called "mid-life crisis" is the climax of this rapid decay, and can sometimes result in tragedy.

accomplishments mean only what you what them to be.Irrelevant. At no point did I state that you personally were overweight.
never said you did. I was showing a point.
These statements directly contradict eachother.
No, not at all. I was showing a point. others can tell you they think you are wasteing your life.
That's why I said "So called wasting my life" because others may think I am. when IMO I'm not.

like I said. One should do what he believes to live is the best way to do so.
and what others believe is important may not be what you think is important.
nothing is in fact meaningful. things only have the meaning and importance we put in them.

Edit: as I don't like making to many off topic posts.
Indeed. Even if you believe in the after life like me.
(don't comment about that part if you disagree, I'm not trying to start that kind o debate here.)
don't mean we should aim while in life at goals other people try to set out for us.
Life's goal is pretty close to whatever you pick them out to be for the most part.Last edited by Lord-Dreamerz; 09-12-2011 at 11:20 PM.

I beleive that there is no ultimate goal in life, other than to do what makes one happy. I mean, whats the point of having done anything in life, if you just die at the end of it? But besides that point, what would be my major acomplishments in life? Defeating the end boss.Yes, happiness is important. But you also have to think of what you have (or have not) accomplished in your life. If you contemplate these things, depending on what kind of person you are, happiness will begin to decay. A so-called "mid-life crisis" is the climax of this rapid decay, and can sometimes result in tragedy.
On a more serious note, one thing I truly want to accomplish is to make games myself, I can just imagine the huge worlds and stories in my head coming to playable life. Games are as much a waste of time as anything else in life.

yup, and that's my point. What I think is meaningful or not, may not be what others think matters or not.
because we all see what is meaningful in whatever ways we want.
but yes I"m not trying to change you or anyone's views on life really.
(Just would like for everyone to be little more Considerate of other people's ways of life.)
So I'll stop commenting about this already. don't want to start real trouble. at least I try not to. *mewLast edited by Lord-Dreamerz; 09-12-2011 at 11:18 PM.

Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil and Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance will also support second slide pad.
Monster Hunter 3G won't be the only game to support this add-on.
..It's like they forcing me to wait for Super Nintendo 3DSi Lite Turbo Hyper Edition instead of getting just 3DS. :I
I had plans about getting 3DS thanks to it's price drop but this just flips the table.

...That's just...ouch...that's all else I'll say on the matter...You can be as skeptical as you want, I played Ocarina of Time 3D, with the 3D slider on full, for roughly 10 hours, with the stock battery pack.
Even if your max is 8 hours...do you really need it to last longer? If you have time and/or desire to squeeze 8+ hours of 3DS gameplay into a normal day, you need to get a new hobby.
...just saying.
Sorry for driving this thread OT, but Nintendo has been doing troublesome things as of late IMO.
Why all of a sudden are they making a new circle pad? Wasn't the 3DS design complete in the first place? I mean there is a huge amount of space just under the XYAB buttons...

Of course 1 analog stick is better than none, but why didn't they learn with the PSP? 1 stick just isn't enough if you want your console to play a larger variety of games requiring manual camera manipulation. And now they release this giant cumbersome thing that's obviously not much into the spirit of a portable device you can just put in your pocket and take anywhere. It seems Nintendo's reputation with useless/retarded/impractical peripherals will continue.

I didn't mean to offend you, and perhaps I could've worded it a little more delicately, but the 3DS isn't something you should be playing for that long anyway. You need to take breaks while gaming on a normal device, and this is even more true for the 3DS....That's just...ouch...that's all else I'll say on the matter...

In regards to the 3DS being complete: It was released complete. This is called an add-on for a reason. Would you argue that the PS3 wasn't complete because it didn't come out with Move right away? Or the Xbox 360 with Kinect (even though it released years after the console)?
The 3DS was "complete" the moment it hit store shelves. This is an optional add-on, and if you don't want it, you don't need to get it.

Its still a bit enigmatic... it looks like it might become bigger than just that!...That's just...ouch...that's all else I'll say on the matter...

I believe the story, is Ninty made it, but only because Capcom pressured them with Monster Hunter... which is a MAJOR franchise in Japan. I'd even say the biggest at the moment.Well look what we have here... nostalgia is a powerful drug. - Theswweet
