Hi, I've played it a few times now and so here's a bit of feedback:
Gameplay, this can be quite an addictive mini game that you got. But I found it quite hard getting past wave 2. So the longevity of it or playability is not a long one. Which I think lets it down a bit. You can blame my skill or lack of it. But as more smack enemies crowd the screen you have less space and time to react. Especially since you're trying the spin or deflect with your movement to get them away. So I think better pacing is needed without making it too easy. Upgrades that change the size of your ball would be nice feature, that only last for say, 8-10 seconds. It's just an idea I had but not a major problem.
Design and sound wise, I tried both light and dark versions and they were exactly the same with a black background. I'm not sure if that it what was intended? The design is very simple and I have looked at videos on Zwingo and the game by nature is simple, which you have replicated well. But I do feel in the world of LBP it looks a bit too simple and needs to be more engaging. Lots of people are doing remakes of other games, so why not add a twist or something that makes it stand out more visually. For example every time I hit something I never heard a sound or any visual cue. This would definitely make it more engaging to the player. For example, when you play a pinball machine every time you hit something there is always a sound or something going on visually to tell you so. I think adding sound to impacts and different waves etc could improve it. Even a custom sticker for the power ups so you have idea what they do before you pick them up. The power-up once active definitely spices things up and makes you want to keep going and to look out for others. I kept coming back to play just to find out, so you're doing something right, but it just needs a bit more work to make it better.
Overall, it's a well executed mini game that can get a bit addictive. The power-ups adds a bit more spice to it, but I honestly thought the dots was an enemy so maybe you could use a custom sticker or design that gives the player a better idea of what it does. The soundtrack suits the game well. It's a simple concept and game, but there's still room for improvements. Your logic is good and I don't think I came across any bugs except selecting light or dark from the menu, which didn't seems to make a difference. The controls take a bit of getting used to, but once you get going it's all good. It's fun, addictive and intuitive. But a bit more work and I can see this catching on and going further.

In answer to your question, both light and dark ARE exactly the same, I was planning on light synchronisation but could not descide if it was too distracting or not. I will add either difficulty toggles or just make it easier and will look into visuals/audiable toggles. Its simple because I am bad at art btw!

Hope you didn't take my feedback in the wrong way. When I mentioned simple I meant it as it's a simple game since the Zwingo game itself is simple. You've done it very well. Anyway since I've played it several time now I'm actually going back to heart it. Then it will be on my hearted list and I can keep coming back when I feel like playing something quick and fun.In answer to your question, both light and dark ARE exactly the same, I was planning on light synchronisation but could not descide if it was too distracting or not. Hi,
I played this the other day. A good level with a unique concept.
I thought the music was good, and fitted the level well, and the visuals were very clean and crisp.
There are a couple of things that I think could improve the level slightly. Firstly is that the elastic/string that connects the two pieces is sometimes visible because of the shadow. Perhaps you could make it so that it's not visible in play mode (unless you already did do that)?
Secondly, when I was playing it, I was thinking that it would be cool if some sort of upgrade system was implemented. Reach a certain number of points and you get to chose 1 upgrade... or something like that. Might be a bit late to add that now, but something to keep in mind if you ever make a sequel.
Good job.
Could you please give my BattleSnake level a go (links in sig) and leave feedback? Gracias.

I actually was planning a zwing two after I finished my current project, and was torn between making it a short chaotic game, similar to how it is now, or a longer more progressive game with an upgrade system (ball size ring size, speed, density and the center balls weight.) with the seccond option I can even add things like upgrade quaility but it makes me have to worry about issues being exposed ( in example currently the music doesnt loop properly and I am working on the fix ) for the string part, thats an easy fix I just keep forgetting about it.
