This is NOT for the Tutorials section(mods, move if you disagree) because it does not match the subforum's description of Tutorials for playing(actually playing levels), creating and sharing.
1. Arrive at your pod using the main controller, because that controller's sackboy can only use the computer.
2. Use the Pod Computer.
3. Community.
4. Cool Levels.
5. Check it real quick for any neat levels, play them or add them to your queue.
IF THERE ARE NO LEVELS YOU'RE INTERESTED IN PLAYING...
6. Exit the Cool Pages section.
CHOICE TIME! This is where you find the other levels.
7a. Go to Search.
---> Think of a cool or interesting level, game or concept.
---> Search using [img]http://wiki.lbpcentral.com/images/f/f0/T_button_24px.png] Filters and find some neat levels.
---> Queue or play.
7b. Go to More.
---> Pick a category to search by. Best are usually "Recently Played", "Busiest"(mostly if you want to make some friends or simply play with others) and "Most Played". You can also use Filters to subcategorizedly find levels to your liking.
---> Queue or play.
It's basically how I do it.
Helpful Tips
To use the Pod Computer, press square using the first controller that was turned on while near the PS3 controller in the pod.
The triangle button can be used to open Filters when looking for a level.

Hearted lists are one of the best filters. They usually contain the decent levels from cool pages, the newer Mm picks, hidden gems and several other great levels. I find 90% of levels and creators from hearted lists and usually add them to my own. Why others are neglecting such a great and creator specific filter is quite a mystery. Not only does it help you find great levels but makes the community grow and gives lesser know creators a bit of light.

Eh, busiest is usually just a clone of the cool pages, because if it IS busy, it'll make it to the cool pages if it's not already there, and people only seem to play the cool pages anyway. I always like lucky dip or newest levels, because even though most of the levels suck, every time you refresh there are new levels there.

I like going through new levels with the LBP2 levels only filter.
Notes about the new levels section.
-Don't play unnamed levels, or ones with empty badge designs
-Avoid levels with premade stickers for badges, unless the title sounds promising
-Don't play levels with descriptions for titles
-It really is self explanatory (for the most part), what to do, and what not to do.I believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again on the third day to forgive us of our sins so we may go to heaven by faith in him alone.
I FINISHED IT !!!!!!!

I find it's easier and faster just to use LBP.me instead of the in-game interface.
Code:>As for the science, it may be negative. However, do not forget the thing that there is a scientific side in all the one. The important one is true. of me the ruler of my fate, and me also the commander of my soul. >▉

The Community Spotlights are really handy for finding awesome levels to play. Also the Spotlight search is a great tool to dig back through the Spotlight archives. Considering there are more than 70 episodes, very few have played all the amazing gems from the spotlight.

I get most of the levels I play from friend recommendations (via Twitter) and by keeping an eye on my LBP.me dashboard (where I can see what levels hearted folks have been playing).

LOL, that's funny because you will find Bad_Dortr if you search for me!
I always thought it was stupid that there wasn't a creator filter in-game for the ocassion that you search for someone and get pages of crap troll levels or super crazed fan levels like with Hazbell here. Or stuff like this.. Searched Poms and Hazbell without any filter or the @..
Kinda shows how incredibly unreliable most filters are if you don't know how to use them well.

Thanks for all your tips, with there being over 5 million levels, the chances of playing a good level is very small. I already knew alot of that, but anything helps.
