UPDATE: All my exams are now finished so this project is now going full steam ahead. If anyone is good with recreating music then could you please help with recreating the music if I can try to find links. Sorry its been so long.
I will add new pictures of my levels progress regularly to this thread to keep you updated on its progress.
I have been working on a new level. This level is a remake of the old Gameboy Colour game Pokemon Crystal.
On the first day of starting the project I tried to get as much of the title screen copied from the old game. I still need to finish it off but here's my progress so far. On the second day I managed to get the objects and pokemon trainer put on LBP 2.
I might recruit a helper or 2 if I struggle with parts of the level. This will probably be to do with logic or I might recruit someone if I feel that this will take a long time to design.
I'm not really sure at the moment how far into the game I want to create but I'm open to suggestions. I was thinking about going up to the first gym. What do you think?
This is the trainer from behind when starting a battle.
Suicune, one of the legandary dogs. It will be obtainable.
This will be the trainer image to go on your trainer card.
It wouldn't be a Pokemon game without Pidgey. You will be able to battle him somewhere in route 29.
A coloured Totodile and Chikorita. These will be the one of the Pokemon that your rival (Red) has.
This is Mr Pokemons house.
This is the route to Mr Pokemons house.
A coloured version of Cyndaquill for a battle against our rival if you chose Chikorita as your starter.
The new Pokemon Center and Pokemart.
This was taken from in Route 29. As you can see my trainer has found an item, exactly how it is on the game.
The logic from the trainer with all animations.
This is an actual screenshot from the level. All the walking animations work![]()
This is route 29. This is to the right of the starting town. Some of the blocks haven't appeared in the photo because I zoomed out quite a bit.
This is just a picture of all 3 starter pokemon. These haven't been placed onto a sticker panel yet.
The finished town!It took me a while.
Its the downstairs of your house.
From my level. Whoops, my bad. I didn't turn on preview
These are my newly designed bedroom items. I took much more time over these compared to the old ones below.
Wish Me Luck![]()

A preview of a skateboard video. This is probably THE best skateboard video in LBP 2 as it uses a custom made skateboard and even makes great use of the 3D layer glitch.

Just a suggestion but maybe move the whole area lined up vertically with the bed over to the right a bit.
Below you can see what I mean, the brown line on the left is where the bed and it's vertical space used to be.
It makes it look more roomier but that is probably just me.
It also matches up much better with the size of the downstairs area.
Unless they are of different scale sizes, In which case you can leave everything the way it is or move the vertical space of the stairs from the downstairs area over to the left a bit so the vertical space is located behind the mother.
Also it would seem more practical to switch the places of the set of drawers and the TV in the downstairs area.Last edited by Darkcloudrepeat; 01-08-2012 at 03:01 PM.

Woo new RPG! I havent played Pokemon in years and this looks great! I wonder though, Have you got the battle system down/ rpg logic down? Pokemon is as simple as RPG logic gets, but was just wondering. Would be pretty cool if players could keep and level up their pokemon.
