I'm am so excited waiting to play it!. i've watched a ton of beta videos on it last month. the game is epic if your a sonic fan, way WAY better Then Sonic4 EP1. enough said

The graphics certainly look better than Episode 1. Less flat and plastic-y looking.

Just played the limited demo or trial of the game and I'm quite satisfied with how it controls this time. Btw, let Sonic and Tails stand idle for a few minutes. Remember how on Sonic 2, Tails used to yawn while he waited for the controller to move? He eventually falls asleep in this game. Lol, sometimes the smallest of details in a game just makes me crack a smile.

Special stage 7 the classic jump from failing by a large margin to clearing with nearly 50 more rings than you need.

Haha same here. Finished it this morning with all red stars and chaos emeralds. Great game, shame Sonic 4 gets criticised.

IRK? to many fans want it to be a perfect copy of the most old sonic games done with just new levels. to be honest that idea sounds horribly boring to me. if i wanted to play something 100% like the old games. then I'd go play the old games again. i already do that once in a while anyways. regardless this game is done enough like the old games to still feel right yet adds enough new ideas and stuff to keep it different in a fun way. This game was really nice IMO unlike that horrible EP1. I really loved every single boss battle in this game, which IMO were 1 of the best parts of this game. I loved the White Park theme level & I really liked the Oil Desert theme & i really enjoyed the tornado themed levels which were the first and last level in that sky zone. I'm a big fan of metalsonic so it was awesome seeing him again and i enjoyed every battle with him too. doing the combo friendship moves with tails was pretty fun IMO. the game was not perfect but I'd still give it a 9 or at least a 8 out of 10 personally, and i've added it to my top fave list with games like Sonic generations and Sonic colors. people need to stop over the top nitpicking and compering the games to the old games so much and just relax and try to enjoy themselves and the game. they are honestly good games. maybe not everyone's cup of tea but still they are not bad as a lot of people want to make it out to be. *mew

Combo moves are a bit over powered, the LOL 69 attack can auto complete huge chunks of the game and the copter combo is too much of a get out of balls-up free card.

I agree about the combo moves. Would have preferred to have to charge them up, or have them available through one-use powerups or something.

I liked episode 1 too, but I'm glad they fixed some of the movement issues for this one.

The only thing I don't like is how under-developed the soundtrack is, the music loops really quickly.
