Story:
Not much of a story,
Just a small-ish level I made for the younger lbp kids as most of my normal levels are too hard or confusing for most younger lbplayers
YT movie: (will arrive shortly!)
type of level:
Simple platformer
Note:
the level took me 18 hours to create (minus some food/drink breaks)
And consists out of 3 different themes.
A lush forest, a hidden temple and the magical sky.
I know that especially the sky might not fit the overall theme but imho it does add a nice contrast and variation to the level.
When working on the cloud-section I almost forgot there was a lush forest and temple underneath it all
Enjoy!
Any comments, reviews and head-up's for problems in-game are appreciated!

Really like the visuals...kids should love this. I'm hardly a kiddy but I may need to take a closer look at that sky! How'd you do the pink sky/cloud background...sticker panel?

Yes, Yes, YES!!! Finally another creation (I haven't been paying much attention, so I might be wrong) expertly made by the one and only Luos_83. The design looks fantastic and I can't wait to play this masterpiece!

Bubbles material set to 0%
add another colored material behind it to bring out the color of the specular in the bubble material.

Wow! Your really pumping out these levels!
I REALLY enjoyed this one. Theres nothing like a nice kid friendly platformer every once in ahwile to draw inspiration from. Oh, and do us all a favour; Make every level you create this quickly from now on!

Great level, simple, easy, fun, somewhat magic, heart relieving.
Nice job Lu

Hmm, interesting.
I'll be sure to give it a go some time.
EDIT:
Played it.
That drop into the spikes is BS (imo), and a bit of a cop out on the "pull the switch and the steps come up" bit (unless that was meant to be ironic).
Beautiful as always, but just because it's a level for kids, doesn't mean you have to simplify everything.
But I'm not a kid anymore (cries a little bit), so I can't really judge.

Very nice level, Luos. Of course, I do enjoy your true, story driven levels more, but this was quite a beautiful "I'm back" level for us to play. C:
Also, what pack is the green foliage decoration from? The little, green "puffs" all over the first picture. . .

I didn't have time to leave a review on the actual level, since I was playing multiplayer. So I'm going to leave one here!
I thought the level was really fun, and great for all ages! The gameplay was good, as well as the details. I can't wait until you put out your next level and I hope it will be as fun as this one, or maybe even more fun! Keep up the good work.

@piglabing > its the brocolli deco from the move pack.
@heist > big drop?
And yes, the pull switch and raise platforms was a bit of an insider joke
Also, I do think simplifying things for youngsters isnt a bad thing, ive spectated quite some youngsters playing this level and some of my others as well and besides a few talented kids most dont play games as good as we did back in the NES era.
If anybody want more of a challenge there are 6m+ other levels they can try
This one was for the young and the not-so good players.
In a few days I will release another kiddy platformer which is sliiiightly more challenging than this one but still focussed on the youngest of lbp players.
Not sure what I am gonna do after that but it will be something completely different
Heres a sneakpeak of the next kiddy level:
