Why do some levels get more plays than the others?

I'm not sure what level i am as a creater...I guess i should advertis my levels more.

Not sure why you would look at the cool pages. Far from being cool. I look more towards what my friends and hearted creators play.


Well.. to figure out how you are as a creator, use the tools! The Level Showcase is one of such tool we have here at LBPC for creators. Getting feedback is invaluable. You really haven't and you have been a member since July 2011? wow.. Much better stuff going on in the Level Showcase than there will ever be in the cool pages.

not true really centurions star wars battlefront took him 2 weeks and that level was really good so it really just depends how much you work on a lvl

Well... posting in the Level Showcase is not to get popular, it is to get feedback to get better as a creator. Once you do get to a certain level it is just a handy place to let people know you have a new level. Basically you are sharing your creations with your friends here on LBPC.

I'm more interested into getting my levels onto the Mm Picks rather than the cool pages, but I should rely on your advice to do that. I should also focus on detail and luck.

Sorry if that sounds off-topic, but that is my number one goal of LBP2.

Well you can get faster cool pages then mmpick and you will have near same effect, considering mmpicks are now delivered in packs and plays are spread accross them all and drop of interest in LBP2, my 1.06 feature showcase got more plays then current top mmpicks.... even if you aim for mmpick you still need to use same methods, people need to know about your level to be mmpicked and cool pages most effective way to do that ;p

Also don't think about getting mmpick, think about level and how to make it unforgettable experience :> leave adrvitisment when you as last thing you do with the level before publish and have patient, level won't explode if you work on it more

Personally, I would try for getting an LBPC Spotlight. They play EVERY level posted in the Level Showcase and to be honest there are some that are spotlighted here on LBPC that are just as good if not better than what has been given an Mm pick.

No you don't have to be on cool pages to be MM picked.

LBPC Spotlight is where the Spotlight crew plays all the levels that are posted in the Level Showcase section. They then meet and discuss the levels and then vote for which ones will be spotlighted.

No...not at all, the Mm folks simply have to be aware of it, play it, and think it worthy.

It is simply the best of the best from our very own community here at LBPC. Everything put into the level showcase is played and considered by our very own spotlight team. If they find it above their standards... it gets Spotlighted. Ever two weeks, they play all the levels that have been posted and create a new list of amazing levels to share with the LBPC Community. We are now on number 80.

Yes you don't need to be on cool pages to get mmpicked, there lot of picks that are half year old when they been picked

I just posted a level over in the showcase and my level link wont come up like every one eles's mines pink and you can't see my hearts or the yay's or nays or any thing :/

Looks like the link to your level on lbp.me was inputed wrong, but I fixed it for you so it's working now.

You're right that I shouldn't aim for Mm Picks just to get more popular. I wanted to feel special while I get the Mm Picked pin. It's my favorite pin I ever heard about.
