So I've been working on a top-down puzzler/platformer level which I'll unveil here as soon as I have enough done. But I've run into a near game ruining problem...
I have the controllinator sitting on an invisible piece of hologram in the back thin layer. And I added a system so the player could jump (Using a timer, NOT-Gate, and two in/out movers.) But, whenever I jump the first time, it doesn't fall down. It stays in the second thin layer. I finally realized this is because I have stone in the thin back layer. And while hologram can easily go through this, it can't change layers into it. How exactly could I fix this?

Well there's the obvious and simple solution of making the hologram a thick layer. But I don't know how the rest of your level is set up so that may not work.
Have you tried putting the in/out mover on a thick layer and leaving the the controlinator on the thin layer? Glue those together and it may work.
I usually don't have my holo switch layers. So I don't really have any useful fact...
^ Not accurate time due to me using an alternate Minecraft launcher.

If you could donate just $5/month, that would be awesome. Don't know how long I can support this on my own... :I I'd say less, but $5 is the minimum they allow... >.<

You can make that wall unphysical, it's on back thin layer so it should not matter, there a trick with corner tool to do things unphysical go search tutorial for it ;]

Well the way I have it set up is there are two movers, one set to out once and the other set to move to back. The Move to back one is always on via a NOT-GATE and X is wired to a timer that is set to start count down. Then thats wired to the NOT-Gate and the other mover. However I do have a very thin lightcube in the middle of the holo/controlinator. (For gameplay and so they can't go through walls) So speedy's way might work, I'll be sure to try it.

Could you not have a selector to switch between the two movers? That's what I have.Well the way I have it set up is there are two movers, one set to out once and the other set to move to back. I'll tell you that I had a lot of trouble with my move in/out once movers not working when they were supposed to, but changing it to move to back/middle worked. I'd give it a go if I were you.

The selector would have required a bit more logic and the system I'm using I got from a tutorial level. It seems to work the best. And I can't do a Move to back and middle because some of the puzzles will require the player going into the third layer.Could you not have a selector to switch between the two movers? That's what I have.

Anyways, Speedy's way worked. I just put the logic on the light flickering chip that was on the lightcube and it works like a charm now. Thanks for all your suggestions guys!
