Lost profile - known bug or something else?

My girlfriend has a profile on my PS3. Always log in as me, then she joins once in LBP. Yesterday, loaded up as normal and everything (saved costumes, costume bits, stickers, the lot) had disappeared. I switched off, and logged in as her and when started LBP it assumed she was a new player, but we've played under her profile before.

The only things I did between was building a level logged in under my profile. Did get her to join me in create/play mode to test some sizing of the screen at one point, and then disconnecting controller but can't see how that would make a difference unless some odd bug. Anyone got any ideas - she's a very sad sack-girl! Cheers!

Another bug from the 1.07 patch. The list is endless.

I haven't heard of this one yet. I doubt there's a way to fix it.

Well, I've made a thread with known bugs and issues, it's not entirely an endless list.

Could I ask some clarifying questions though?

Do you play online?
Does your girlfriend's account have it's own PSN access?
Has she ever played the game just with her own account before?
Have you installed 1.07? (you should have if you are online)
Finally, have you purchased the MGS level expansion?

- Hmmm, I think so. I'm fairly sure a couple of times been logged on as her when started to play LBP so just carried on rather than logging into mine

- Oh sweet lord yes! Actually, the problem I'm having and download of MGS Pack are fairly close in time.

Only other thing I did was have her join me on a create level when doign sizing of screen (as said previously). The "defect" is basically all collectables and saved costumes gone. Purchased packs still there. Only other thing which may have done inbetween was set my account to auto-login when PS3 boots. We noticed problem the instant booted LBP and got to pod - it wasn't there for a while while playign and suddenly dissappeared mid-game. Can't think of anythign else useful.

Well, guess its an excuse to replay the levels and get the rest of the prize bubbles...
