Points Market Issues

I think I have had problems with this for a month.

I have asked for help. But I will tell all details here.

The first thing was trying to buy the profile upgrade. It wouldn't buy it. I had to ask CC. He gave me a free one.
So it worked for a week. I made a cool sig and stuff. Later, I tried to change it. But no upgrade anymore. Couldn't make anymore cool sig.
Then, I went to buy again. Points market is disabled. And says I have no points. I asked the admin. Hardly no feedback. They tried to help a little. Said something was wrong. But what was wrong?
I thought it was because of an infraction I received. But that is no longer in action. But I still have no points or access to the points market.
I tried to gain points. But I can't do that either.

Please help!

The Market was being worked on but it appears there may still be an issue.
Thanks for letting us know you're still having problems and I'm sure it will be looked into.

FYI

Because the Market is third-party (e.g. not developed by us), we can't give any estimate as to when this issue will be resolved. The code is just not all that well written, and without documentation it's near impossible to discern easily. That said, we are looking at it and if we can fix it, we will. I just have no idea when that will be. In the meantime, thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Points market is disabled. And says I have no points.

Your account status is set to "Users Awaiting Email Confirmation" which implies you've recently changed your email address, but haven't clicked the confirmation link. The XP system will be disabled until your email address has been confirmed, after which your XP total will be recalculated and set to the correct amount.

This happens to me too, but in a differnt way. When I go to buy the Ultimate upgrade, it buys it, I get conformation of it, but when I try to upload an animated avatar it tells me to buy the Ulitmate upgrade. I still have the XP as before the purchase though...

You can try re-sending the confirmation email, otherwise you'll have to change your email address to a provider with a less paranoid spam filter.

Anyone with low-level access to the server (which is just myself and CC) can do anything which you might reasonably be able to do with such access. I don't think it's a big secret, since CC said...

I have since verified them with Aya042 (our resident server guy and code monkey)...

...although I would've preferred he not use the word "monkey".

I'll try it again. It was actually a while ago. Just wanted to know if I actually did have to buy it again.
