In a similar vein to my Bad design 101 level , I would like to do the same, but to your level.
I'm looking for "above average" platformer to let loose on.
It will probably the most comprehensive LBP review in history.
For those who haven't played my level (linked above, level thread in my sig), basically it's a running commentary spanning a level.
A sort of "learn as you play" type of deal.
"A free level review you say?
What's the catch?"
You will need to give me a copy of said level.
I'm a tough critic. No "compliment sandwiches" here.
Thermo wiggle room is needed for magic mouth additions.
No emitter/destroyer abuse or excess glitches.
I would also prefer to republish your level (with my commentary/review) under my PSN. (negotiable)
Creators who can't handle constructive criticism well need not apply.
Anyone interested?![]()

Hey, wanna try this on my Jak and Daxter level 2? I swear I don't take creative criticism personally, and I would like to see from a tough critic's perspective how the series can improve. The level does use the emit/destroy technique, but the thermo handles it well and it isn't a hassle in create mode, no slow framerate etc , the thermo can take plenty of magic mouths, and I wouldn't mind you publishing it under your psn, would you be interested?

You can do that to my levels when i have them finished. I would rather friend you tho and have you go through my level with me. idk about copying them. If you think you are a good critic and can shed light on some bugs in my levels i'll give you credit at the end. once you realize how in-depth the levels are you will be proud to have your name scrolling at the end.
Cydaddy, same on here as it is on PSN. add me?

I would prefer a non-sackbot linear level, but I'll take that and see how we go.Hey, wanna try this on my Jak and Daxter level 2? The main reasoning for me to have a copy is so it is easier to edit. I can't stand co-creating simply due to the lag it creates.You can do that to my levels when i have them finished. Still open to other levels.

Hmmm... I am just wondering if I could squeeze my level into your requirements, but I think It will be a bit off your requirements.
first of all, you control a Sackbot. However that does not raise any problems with magic mouths or player censors, because Sackboy's controllinator is following the Sackbot, and it is glitch free (it even stays on the same layer as the bot) So the bot is really just a Sackboy with weapons.
And the thermometer is very close to full, the thermo is 15/16, and so does have room for a few measly magic mouths fortunately, but it goes slow in create, though not slow enough to annoy you I would imagine...
And the most worrying of all... It is short, and is split into two levels. Though the second is hidden, so people can't just rip into Part 2.
I accept any constructive criticism, and often try to improve the level further, using the advise (where I can)
My level is free of all glitches.
Emmiter/destroyer technique free (assuming that means the level doesn't emit itself)
I'm fine with you republishing my level under your PSN (with the review)
I really hope it qualifies

Ah well if you don't get any others to offer their level using mine is no problem, I realized after I posted that my level isn't a typical "platformer", but you can skip mine if another more platformy level comes along, I was just curious to see you get started on getting this little project started. It's no problem if mine is used or not

This is a great idea and I would love to support it! I just wish I had an 'above average' level for you.
The first level I published in LBP1 is linear and not sackbot. You are welcome to it to get the ball rolling.
It only got 17 plays but yeah when I made it I thought it was pretty good (it's not).

Thanks all!
@ratchetruler:
- Is it a R&C level? (bonus points if it is)
- Is it online/published? (I could have a play and see what it's like that way)
@damaz10:
Ha, no prob bro, if I could use your level as a backup, that would be great.
@Mr_Fusion:
- Is it playable in LBP2? Link me? (at the very least I could use it as a trial run)

Lol I turned that off because it is rather terrible but I will change it and let you get your hands on it. I think that, like your level, having some discussion about creator choices would be interesting. But having your reaction to it with out creator explanation is also great.Thanks all!
