the cyclops in that video animates beautifully. it looks sad when they start tugging its eyes out. Doesn't look like I'll be getting this, My ps3 is in the family living room and that end shot looks and sounds pretty brutal.

Isn't it Ironic how points are the most pointless part of LBP?

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/20...ayer-confirmedPapy told Eurogamer Ascension's campaign is "just a little bit shorter" than in previous God of War games. "We've mapped out everything and given time estimates. It'll be pretty **** close."

Rabid-Coot answered that for you. And they say it'll be close to the previous ones but in my experience, devs always exaggerate the duration of their games. They say it's 10 hours long, you can expect something 7 hours long.

mmmm... i was worried that spending time on multiplayer would shorten the singlepayer so i'm not too happy about that.

It looks... grand really. Kind of more of the same... but so far that boss is NOT as epic as Poseidon. So I'm currently unimpressed.
Little disappointed. The elephant enemy was pretty cool but everything else was same old same old. I think they should've had a trailer as well.

What exactly would anyone want with an 8 inch statue of kratos? not only is he hideously unattractive, but he's not actually that intricate a character, he'd be quite bland to look at I'd imagine, plus, 8 inches. EIGHT INCHES. what an akward size!!

He did his job well in GOW 1 and Ghost of Sparta, but I find no good reason why we'd want to advance his agenda in GOW 2 and 3. He basically became the villain of the story.

I heard there was a ton of blood in the game... it's like they made it just for me. I also heard a thousand reasons to buy it, and not one negative review, definitely be picking it up soon..

In an interview with IGN, Sony Santa Monica's David Hewitt admitted the team's scaled back on the violence towards women in God of War: Ascension. The team is of the mind that showing such a thing would make a statement and define the character in a way that doesn't befit Kratos. "There are some things we've pulled back from. I think where this has been an issue is with violence against women – the team's pulled back from some of that and assessed that a little more carefully," Hewitt admitted. "There are certain things that carry has a different kind of resonance that we don't want to get into. This isn't about statement-making in that regard. It's about fleshing out this character."
The overall interview focuses not just on violence on women, but violence in general. As one of the most criticized games of E3 in this regard, Hewitt justifies God of War: Ascension's body count by saying Kratos doesn't languish in the slaughter, nor does he particularly enjoy it. Kratos is constantly pushing forward, moving toward his goal of revenge, so Hewitt doesn't feel the violence is particularly glorified.

So, God of War is officially dead now?
