version 1.12 update glitch report

besides the boo b gone has anyone noticed the numerous amount of game play glitches,
heres a list

1. while a guest in someone elses pod as they look at their moon, you will see your own moons levels.

2. upon returning to pod while in party, you can be trapped in the pause menu, with no way out. THIS CAN BE SOLVED BY TAKING A PICTURE,,,, GO FIGURE

3. upon return to pod trapped at the EULA agreement screen, with un responsive controls, CURE TOTAL REBOOT PS3

4. story mode level failure or glitch, HEDGE HOPPING, the floor is bouncing more than the bounce pads

5. dive in is much better, now instead of 30 seconds, i have to watch THE GAME FOR TWO MINUETS WHILE IT HOPELESSLY TRYS TO JOIN PEOPLE WHO HAVE AUTO REJECT ON, what a waste, auto recect players shouldn't be in the selection pool for dive in.

6. dont get me started on the boo b gone, but TROLLS ACTUALLY HAVE MORE POWER NOW THAN EVER, since they can disable their own comments and reviews , BUT STILL BE ABLE TO LEAVE COMMENTS AND REVIEWS, with no FEAR of a response, SUPER FAIL, if you chose not to accept criticism you SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED to give it

7. some of my levels with 17,000 plays has remained unchanged, suddenly the score doesn't work, scores apear black and do not tally


This list can and will go on, please report any stange things you've seen since the update

and don't expect any change, i have know idea why mm did this to us, but im sure the knew what would happen, and therefore will never reverse the boo b gone action

but seriously without boo their is absolutly no need for yay, i can only assume that some kid got so depressed because his level got boo'd off cool pages that he ended it all. mm of course had to respond by attempting to save peoples feelings for being poor creators. but where will this lead, sally cant score 10k on hedge hopping so shell cut her wrists? MM MUST REMOVE THE SCORE, what about the guy who cant ace a level, BETTER JUST GIVE HIM THE PRIZES, and how about those unfortunate players who cant afford DLC, they might off themselves cause ther jealous of someone who has it. MM WILL HAVE TO GIVE ALL DLC FOR FREE.

I think the reason people don't like the removal is because they don't like change. :/

guess i focused too much on boo, really want replies about functionality glitches since the update, for which the boo seemed the main goal, PLEASE FOCUS ON THE SIDE EFFECTS, THAT IS GAME FUNCTIONALITY PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

I wouldn't say the boo b is a glitch, more a plus for most of us.

Someone else on LBP central encountered another problem because of this update. He can't make changes to his profile. I haven't faced that problem yet, but this is why I do backups now.

This was happening before the update. It happeded to me about 7 days ago, but I only updated the game yesterday.

@ the OP....I don't think boos were only used against "bad" creators because I often saw really well made levels getting booed for the most petty of reasons. Even in the case of "bad" creators, just booing them isn't going to help them get better unless you also leave them some feedback about what you didn't like and how you feel their level could be improved. Seems like the boo was used more as a weapon for trolls than as a way of providing constructive criticism, much akin to people heckling and throwing fruit at the actors in a stage production. I'm glad they're gone.

mabey you missed the part about the trolls new SUPER POWER,, i played a level yesterday didn't realise reviews were disabled until it was too late, this level is on cool page 1, has an attractive title, the level consists of a starting checkpoint . . . . and thats it, NO CONTENT BACKGROUND FINISHLINE NOTHING, just a dirty trick level for play with reviwes and comments disabled, i'll certianly be more carefull before i select anything.

I found a new problem with the update. Games like Basketball from the story mode is giving out black scores only. Black scores mean no scores are given, so you can never win a versus game. In Block Drop and Rodent Derby, the color code by player color is all white (which means no player is adjusted.

Mm won't do anything about it either.

I almost never play anything out of the uncool page anymore. If you do, just make sure to look at pics taken of that level by players that aren't the author, that'll usually tell you what's there, unless there are no pics uploaded, in which case it's most likely a fake level like that.

it's more because people can now make it impossible to give any kind of negative feedback, and that caters to the trolls.



I had the profile change glitch. it corrupts your entire profile and a lot of things on your moon. If you get this, make a blank level and put in it any objects/stickers/etc you want to save, then publish it locked and sublevel. back up any of your projects the game will let you, or try to publish them locked if you can, then once all that's done load a profile backup.

There were so many glitches in this update, plus the boos, it's a disaster. I swear, it must not have been tested past just seeing if the game will start up. if it was, such obvious problems would have been noticed and (maybe) fixed.

I found a new overlord glitch by using emojohnpiano's and madmarsrocks "God Glitch V3"... Yes with emitters and the LBP1 way of using the overlord glitch.
