Expand Image On Signatures

I don't think it's always been like this, I don't come on here often, but the expand image on the signatures is annoying :P

OCD is what's making me go nuts. Most of our signatures on these forums, when resized, only enlarge by a few pixels ... Seems unnecessary to do that and it adds that ugly yellow bar across the signature. Is there something that you guys can change that it will only resize an image if it's too large for the area allotted? I know for sure there is more than 500px of room for my signature that it doesn't need to be down sized.

EDIT: It doesn't seem like it's doing it to my signature anymore but it's doing it to other signatures that are the same size. O_o

Personally I find it irritating too, only CC and Aya can do something about it though.

Well i big images are issue they could at least remove max size thingy on the top on signatures

I can't get mine the size I want it. It's full size in Paint, but on here it looks like this.

The staff could just limit the size of signatures more so they don't get resized by the forum software.

Signatures have always been resized you're only noticing it now that theres a bar above the image telling you about it.

Yeah when I made my own sig it was that size and it was too small to see anything.

but my signature is the exact size allowed. 500x100 why then is it resized?

You need to host it somewhere else and not upload to LBPC. Anything uploaded to LBPC gets reduced quite a bit.

Notice mine doesn't get resized. Make it 490 x 100.

Maybe the resize thing could be changed for posts as well 'cause, like, even LBP screenshots get resized.

It is kind of annoying, considering it ruins the transparency effect some signatures use (*looks below*...), but I'm sure it will get fixed fairly soon.
