I'm not sure about that... I mean you have a point with giving away the first game free to attract attention and all... but sony already played that card with the welcome back package after the psn outtage last year so may not attract as much people as you think.

yeah, i realise that a lot of people have already been given the game for nothing due to the outage and one of the first PS+ promotions but it would still attract a lot of people i believe. it would also give LBP a presence that it hasn't got at the moment in news agents and hobbiest shops.

The developers would lose more money developing this then they would gain from purchases. Not necessarily a wise choice to create a magazine for a game community. Perhaps an online newsletter that showed Mm picks? Kind of an extension of "Sack it to me"

Agreed. If we imagaine they have a buck or two lying around to play with, then this would be definitely be a cool thing to look into. But as it is now, I can't see them taking the risk.

How are magazines in general doing as far as sales? Especially ones like gameinformer (is that still a thing?). Hmmm, I'll look into that some time. Last I remember of it, I think gamestop was actually giving the subscriptions away for free with some pre-order purchase way back when.

Um, TBH, even though the game is like $10 now, I still think it's a bit too much to go with a magazine. Maybe some DLC? Like, for every person who buys the first issue, they will get an exclusive Deadpool costume you can only obtain from the magazine. How about that?

That could work really for any special issue really. That would be a good addition.
