Hello everyone. I would first like to say that I am on an iPod and please do excuse any spelling/ grammar mistakes I may make.
Next up I belive I will run a little bit of a background.
I'm sure none of you remember my project that I began in LBP1 with plans of imports into LBP2 however, I was not certain (still are not certain) of the power and limits of the game. The project's name was "DragonStorm" due to various reasons I abandoned the project.
If you want to read what was planed for the project, I belive it is still lurking on the forums somewhere.
Anywho, on to what I need help with.
The current problem is that, I'm thinking of making it a top-down "figher" / "scroller" esc. R.P.G. This will open much more gameplay and various extra cool aspects, such as better arenas, a really big, open map and a general better way of how the game is played, along with more axis of movement, of course.
So. Is this possible, if so how do I do it

The only limit this game has, is you.
As I said before, the only limit this game has, is you. So the question is not, is the game able to do this. But are you able to design it???
Nothing is ment to harm you in any wayProjects under constuction:
Crazy Space Clock 2 (40% done)
[Platformer without a name] (0,01% done)
Projects finished:
Crazy Space Clock (rotating survival level)

16 bit ALU(huge logic level)

To be honest don't make an RPG. Or at least not Top Down. They are way to common. If you are, try to make yours stick out in some unquie way. If you do make it , think through the entire thing "What can I do that to make mine better than all other RPGs out there?"

I never really play RPG's in lbp. To busy building my own levels
But you are right, you ALWAYS have to give your level a little bit "YOU".Projects under constuction:

it will be special. and I know why it will be special. however its all a work in progress, I have a somewhat vague main story (Written in detail to make, maybe one or two levels) I will make it stand out, orelse I wouldn't be making it
and have you seen WAY to many top-down, epic adventure RPGs, with a full working HuD and many levels, a "fight arena" and (hopefully) multilayer support.
that wasn't exactly what I asked. If I never ASKED people how to do it or looked at tutorials I wouldn't know what I'm doingThe only limit this game has, is you.
I know. however I can't make a full say, MMO, the game is limited, there is a thermometer and a max of 20 levels, not big limits, but limited
(and 3 (4?) playable layers)
As I said before, the only limit this game has, is you. So the question is not, is the game able to do this. But are you able to design it???

I'm asking for advice on how to do things.
each to there own, and I don't blame you
(of course it will have a little bit of "ME" there will be airships

Cool, airships ^^
How do you want me to anser anyway. Those 3(4) official layers are true, but there is a glitch in LBP2 (in LBP1 as well). This will expend it to over 50 layers. The only limit of it is, that the player can't use them in play mode.
A very important limit of the game is the thermometer on the left of the screen.Projects under constuction:

I mean not to offend you, and I do not wish to begin an arguement.
I have played little big planet (1+2) on-off for maybe 3 1/2 years and consider myself rather "skillfull" at the game. Howeve I have very little LBP2 knowlege (minus easy to medium logic). And yes I have played with the 3D glitch and various other things to stretching out the games limits. I know what the thermomater is and I do understand it is on the left of the screen.
The way your replies are set are asif you belivre I am 5 years old. This is sort of depressing for myself :/

I'm sorry, I don't ment to =S
But your question is not really specific, how to do things....
What do you mean exactly with 'things'?Projects under constuction:
