Part of the LBPC's "Aquatic Acceleration", this is my first contest entry level since "Prius_Recycle Rescue". In this fast-gameplay underwater level, players much reach through each checkpoint before they run out of breath. And they must get to the finish as fast as possible because of the score time. This platformer features obstacles that make players go fast, such as a streaming pipe and a rocket marine. Just like my previous level, "Timeshift Ruins", this level features a music created by me, secrets to find, and some unique visuals. When playing this level, be sure to report any bugs or problems before the contest deadline. Hope you enjoy this fast-paced aquatic level.

Very nice level! I especially love the music. It's so dark and epic.. it really fits the level!
The only parts that kinda made me want to throw my controller were the parts with the underwater rocket ship. It's pretty hard not to crash it. I finished the level though, and overall, it made me smile

The level has been updated with fixed problems involving a second emitting marine rocket. Also, I added a speech bubble where players receive a hint about what to do after they flip the switch. In addition, a bit more visuals has been added. And I added a camera around a checkpoint with four paths. Hope this update helps.
Edit: I updated this level again with a couple of changes. One is that the marine rocket becomes much easier to control thanks to it's brake use (while holding a circle button). The other change is that the level starts with fifty-thousand points, instead of sixteen-thousand points.Last edited by JustinArt; 06-16-2012 at 01:23 AM.

Returning the F4F. ^^
This level was good overall, though there were a couple issues. One issue was with the rocket marine. Twice it bugged out on me where it ignored my direction input and kept going way it was, like I would turn left and it would keep going up as example. 2nd time it happened I kept moving the direction I wanted to go in hopes it would snap out of being stuck in one direction. The other issue was with the secrets. I had no idea those things I kept seeing were secrets. I thought they were decor. It was only after I saw the 3rd or 4th one that I tried swimming to it and got points for it. The level description says nothing about there being secrets to find as of the time I'm typing this. It might even be nice having something at start of level showing picture of those things with secret label so players know those are secrets. Other than those two things I thought the level was good. Everything else seemed fine.Main LBP Profile: h0tNstilettos

Thanks, Hama_Kami. The rocket seemed to work all right each time I played the level. There must be something wrong with it to some players, though, even if I made it optionally slow down. I wish I can fix it, but right now I'm unable to update this level because the contest crew is currently judging all the LBPC8 levels.Returning the F4F. ^^

Hey, here's my in-depth (LOL - somewhat I guess) review of your level! Because you support F2F I kindly ask you to play my level in return:

Review:
The starting scene was REALLY amazing! Original and creative. After that though I was released from a small area into a HUGE place, and I felt very lost and not sure what to do!
After I got to the first DESCENT area with the fan at the top, I understood what to do. Hold the thing and let go ideally at the ARROW in order to grap the next thing. It was quite difficult though and there was a small gap for it to be done because the things move WAY to fast. Something I learnt from making levels, is through testing our own levels a bazillion times, we become super-pro's at our level and even come to find it hard to believe other people find certaing obstacles hard. But it really was quite hard!
The first area/obstacle set where you grab things with R1 could also do with some cosmetic changes because it's kinda box-ish right now.
I'm writing this LIVE as I play your level. And your second obstacle where you grab the cube to activate the jump pad in order to speed through a obstacle is prooving really difficult! And by the way, I've aced all the LBP1 and LBP2 levels so I know when it's hard! Cosmetically this area was very good but It took me at least 30 attempts to pass the first barricade thingy and to be honest I would usually have gotten very frsutrated and left after ten. And also, a lot of kids play this game who suck more than me. It's not getting to the Jump Pad thats hard but the jump pad was hardly taking me anywhere it felt, I would think to increase it's "height". After than dying on the other side due to lack of oxygen I realized it is easy to pass the first part if you use the MIDDLE of the jump pad, but because there is a sense of urgency created I was using the lowest part of it which is the quickest to get to, and I would think many players would do this to. Your level has 135 plays and 28 completes!!! So I think that unless you really meant for this level to be super-hardcore that you make it a bit easier! please!!!! =P
I than understood the pain of those 107 people and then also got super-frustrated and left!!!
But I cannot really take down a level based on it's difficulty, also I would suggest you make it easier, it is still mechanically/conceptually a very good level and cosmetically also a very good level. And so I have LIKED it and even HEARTED it so that perhaps when I can one day finish it LOL!
Anyways, sorry to say so again, but please F2F, my level is in the above link!

Thanks for a feedback, FahadM. I meant to make obstacles to go fast for this level because of the theme for LBPC8. But I didn't realize how super challenging it is for players to pass this level. I thought players will be able to handle my amazing obstacles for this level, but I guess I was wrong. I think the biggest mistake is that I should have my fellow testers beta test this level first, instead of just publishing this level straight on. Right now, like I said to Hana_Kami, I can't republish this level until the results are in. I queued your level, so I'll play it and give you feedback.Hey, here's my in-depth (LOL - somewhat I guess) review of your level! Because you support F2F I kindly ask you to play my level in return:
