    Default Crusher! (a speed creation)

    http://lbp.me/v/b6v76z
On a warm and sunny day at the scrapyard, what's better than playing around in the crusher? Don't worry, it's completely safe(ish)! Don't forget to wear a helmet!

Hello there sacklings! I have created a new mini survival challenge. This one was made in under 8 hours.
It's a survival challenge where you have to avoid getting crushed. If you liked my other levels, you should really give this one a try!

I updated it with an in-game explanation on how to avoid the crusher. The yellow car moves back a layer, creating a safe hole for you to sit in I thought the LED that lighted up was good enough, but you're not the only one who could not figure it out so i made it a little more clear :P

I also added some sound effects while i was at it

Wow! I really enjoyed this level it was great fun and had me on the edge the whole time. What really made it for me though was the little details such as the sack boy pulling the leaver.

    Keep up the great work!

(Sorry this took so long, I've had a few Internet issues)

    Nice level dood.
It was a bit hard to see where the gap was as it went on, which ultimately led to my downfall
There should be a bit of a bigger gap between when the final one comes down, and when the crusher comes down.
    Other than that,
    brilliant level dood

Very fun & addicting, but y'know how the bot grabs the switch? Well he missed once so it was impossible to get to top.

  14. Thanks!

I too enjoyed this level, the thought of it being made in 8 hours is pretty incredible.
Firstly on appearance, I thought the visuals were good the lights with the city-scape background were pleasing. However with the crusher - I thought that the large metal block was quite ugly, maybe it could be composed of different components and different materials.

The gameplay was great, instructions were clear and easy to understand and nice and short. The game starts off pretty easy which is nice however I did not notice any increase in difficulty, (however that may just be me as I clumsily died).

I thought the addition of the sackbots was great, I also really liked the witty / funny comments of the sackbots as the game progressed.

Overall I thought the level was great fun and I am just about to play it again, this level seems to have good replay value however I would increase the difficulty faster. You got a heart from me.

  16. Thanks!

I've been thinking of making it look nicer, might do that later.. Add some toothed edges and stuff. A good idea will pop to my mind eventually But as i said, it was made very fast. So the focus wasn't put on details.

You'll notice the blocks falling down faster and faster as you progress, giving you less time to see where the gap is. You'll notice that it gets very hard once you're near the highscore

Thanks! I usually add in some sackbots who throw funny lines if a level feels empty :P

Really? Well that's pretty weird because the switch only powers sound effects. The actual emitters are wired to a sequencer on the sackbots. That must have glitched up somehow lol.

The challenge lies in reacting quickly to the position of the gap when you spot it. Gets harder as you progress Thanks for the feedback anyway!

This is great, especially for having been made in such a short amount of time.
The visuals are solid and the gamplay is simple, but fun.
I also liked the comments the sackbots make. Those were some nice additions.

  19. Thanks!
