The Blackout Guard assuming control of the Prison Cell began to escort Heather outside of her cage, and towards her doom, the pit. As they walked down the hallways of the jailhouse, she noticed the sad souls, placed and locked in cells just like hers. Before continuing any further though, the guard stopped for a second as his phone began ringing. He let go of Heather for a second, with her wrists still tied up. As she pressed her back against the wall behind her, she felt metal bars touch against her spine. She briefly turned her head around to see what was behind the bars she was leaning against, and saw someone, turning towards her.
Blackout Guard: "Listen Viper...I've got everything under control....Yes, yes, she's still in her cell, don't worry. Guards are already planning re-location as we speak."
Heather watched as the man in the cell got up, his bony, lightweight figure now visible in the dim light shining down on him. It was most likely that her mind was playing tricks with her, but there was something about this man, something about his face that was....familiar. Without turning to the guard, she shifted her eyes over to him, trying to tell the not-so well kept man what he had to do without being able to squeeze in a single word, and luckily for her, he knew the basics of what she was trying to tell him through facial conversation.
Blackout Guard: "Mhm. Well sir, good luck over in Texas then, and watch out for Microsoft."
..And with that, Heather swiftly moved around and behind the guard, and headbutted him over to the prison bars that encompassed the bony man named Jackson, where the guard smashed his head into, dropping his phonne. Still, this rough and tumble soldier kept himself up, not passing out like some would from the head trauma he had just experienced. But, sadly for him, he would go night night a different way. Jackson slid his thin, serpent-like arm through the prison bars, wrapping it around the man's neck, choking him, until passing out, falling to the floor, away from the cell.
Jackson: "Good, now push him over so I can grab his keys."
Heather glanced downwards at the guard's waist, where the keys were dangling off of, and silently looked back up to the gaunt, thirty-something year old man requesting freedom.
Heather: "How do I know you won't just sacrifice me to Blackout soldiers just to keep moving?"
Jackson: "It's a possibility... but look, we don't have time little lady. Once they realize what's happened through all the cameras, an alarm's going to go off, and more troops are going to be sent in. I know about these people, and unfortunately for you, you do not. Without me, you'll be as clueless as a rat in a lab maze."
The man was right, even if she didn't want to admit it. Right after his little speech, they both heard the sirens signalling an attempt at escape go off.
Security Officer: *via camera station* "ALERT! ALERT! PRISONERS 17 AND 18 ARE ESCAPING!"
Jackson: "Well?"
Heather: "Alright, fine."
Heather kicked the passed out body over to the bars where Jackson choked him originally. He lowered down and slid his arm through the bars once again, grabbing for the keys, and opened the cell door.
Heather: "Alright, now get these chains off my wrists."
Jackson proceeded to do exactly what she said, releasing her from the tight manacles pressing against her joints.
Jackson: "Now do you trust me?"
Heather: "Not really.."
Jackson: "Whatever, let's just get the hell out of here."
The two began running down the hallways of the Blackout prison, leaving behind the unconscious prison guard, and ready to make a run for it.

"Mercuy? I thought you were dead."
"Oh, did you?" Mercuy's voice was devoid of all life, and said in a soft accusing tone. "I wonder why."
"Wait, what?"
"Cut the ****. I know you're working for Blackout, you've made that fairly obvious." He moved closer to GDN's desk with every word.
"Look, Mercuy-"
"I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT! You lead me into a Blackout trap, where i'm held in captivity for 23 years and expect me not to be ****** about it?"
"I didn't know!"
"DON'T GIVE ME THAT, YOU KNEW **** WELL. If it wasn't you then how did you escape that base, huh? HUH?" And then, you go into hiding the whole time while I'm gone, then return to lead Sony right around wartime? YOU DIDN'T THINK THAT ANYONE WOULD NOTICE DID YOU?"
"THAT'S A COINCIDENCE! WHAT ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT WE'VE BEEN THROUGH MERCUY? WHAT ABOUT THAT?"
"What, when we went up to Everest and you got shot in the head by the Blue Cult, just to show up again later? YOU'RE JUST AMAZED THAT SOMEONE ACTUALLY MANAGED TO FIGURE IT OUT!"
"I'VE BEEN FIGHTING FOR SONY FOR YEARS, HOW COULD YOU EVEN SAY THAT?" With all the anger expressed in words that they could manage, they just continued to stare at eachother, the situation still far from being resolved.
((One more thing, In a previous post at the top of the last page I mentioned a war between Sony and Blackout in Old Natal, that should've been Nintendo and Blackout.))Last edited by Merc; 06-27-2012 at 09:47 PM.

Mercuy just stood there, silently staring at him. GDN was about to say something else when he beat him to it.
Merc: It's easy to fake loyalty, you know... Wasn't that what the last Commander did?
GDN reminded the speech that the Blackout officer gave him back in Petropolis. Was he really fulfilling a purpose for Blackout? Or was it all just an attempt to mess with his mind? GDN tried to escape from these thoughts and get back to the matter at hand.
Merc: Your treachery ends right now, Commander.
GDN noticed Mercuy ready his energy sword as he spoke, quickly grabbing his knife and use it to block the attack that came right after. GDN was pushed down to the floor as Merc drove the glowing sword towards him. However, GDN managed to kick the crazed veteran back, resulting in him tripping over the table. GDN pulled his pistol and pointed at him, but Merc was quick and knocked it out from his hand while grabbing his neck with the other. The ex-microsoft pinned GDN towards the wall and pointed the sword at his neck, infuriated.
GDN: MERCUY! MERCUY! YOU'RE OUT OF YOURSELF!
The sword began to glow, and as Merc prepared the final blow, GDN pulled his grasping arm away from himself just in time to evade the sword, which was now pinned to the wall. GDN retaliated by pulling Merc from his arm and throwing him to the side, leaving the sword on the wall and both unarmed, facing each other.

((We are going slightly slow for our first week, so I think we're going to need to pick up the pace a little bit in terms of posts. I think that we should all have at least 2 posts by the end of tomorrow. Think we can manage that?))

"You're making a mistake! What do I have to tell you so you believe me?"
"You can't tell me anything. I need to see action. You back out of this war? Fine, i'll believe you. You wipe Blackout off the map? I can trust you, but i've not seen any of that from you."
"Back out of the war? I can't do that! Sony and Microsoft are a massive threat to us, and they won't back down!"
"Then I'm not walking out of here empty handed." Mercuy pulled out his rifle and aimed it at GDN, grabbing his sword while he moved over to the commander's desk and pulled a USB out of his pocket and plugged it into the computer.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm not going to kill you, but I may as well take your files." GDN fell silent, because there wasn't much else he could do.
"Transfer complete."
"Good. Go through those files and you'll see that I'm innocent."
"They won't prove me right or wrong. I just need to make sure that no men are wasted before the real threat shows up." No more words needed to be said, and Mercuy walked out the door holding all of the cards.
I'll admit that he succeeded, but having to attack friends to get what you need... I couldn't do that, and that's why I didn't want to be a part of the war anymore.

The Nintendo van drove through the crowded streets of Sunnyvale, with the driver of the vehicle following the GPS plugged in as they passed by lights, stop signs and turn sections, before detouring from the gold and glamour that the city had to offer, and trudging through the dark alleys that would be their passage way to the Blackout Prison.
Driver: "So, I hear Microsoft's planning some big, midnight launch, all the kids should be crowding around to buy a copy."
Drago: "Heh, as usual..I wonder what Sony's got planned."
Driver: "Drago, we already know all the games they're planning to release."
Drago: "No, not for the market. I mean the war. The disadvantage of being enemies is that it can be more difficult to find out what the others are up to. I just have a bad feeling, always hovering above me, that at any time, the two other factions could strike."
One of the agents there, Addams, looked over to Drago after what he just said.
Addams: "As much as I'd love to tell you you're wrong Commander, I can't. But we have a mission that can help put this war to rest."
Drago: "True. But there's also the aftermath of this all to consider."
Driver: "Sometimes....soldiers just gotta live in the moment. Worry about the 'now', and deal about the 'later'...later."
GPS: "You will soon arrive at your destination."
The van proceeded to slow down as it arrived at the prison. Or, really, above the prison. They stopped right in front of what looked to be a typical building, hidden away in the dingy and concealed parts of the Californian city. The four agents, Drago, Addams, Rick, and Zack (the driver) pulled back the large, Ultramarine-colored doors of the Nintendo van, and walked over to the doors of a run-down, miniature storage facility. ((Don't worry, Addams, Rick and Zack, like all other Nintendo agents I've got besides Drago are only temporary, nobody important))
Zack: "There's something that doesn't feel right, just having four agents here and whatnot."
Drago: "Don't worry, back-up isn't too far from us. Let's get out the flashlights and gloves. Rick, feel free to give Claire and the rest of the tech team a call. It should be good to keep in contact with them now that we've arrived."
Rick: "On it, sir."
Drago and Rick took out two flashlights for them to carry, while Addams handed out several pairs of black, leather gloves for them to use when needing to touch various things inside. Rick started to dial Claire's number before putting on the gloves though.
Drago: "I guess we'll have to find a way in the building first."
Addams: "Welp, I can't find a door, but there is a window."
Zack: "That's good enough for me."
Addams: "Hold up, I see alarms."
Addams slid his arms off of the bag he was carrying once again, and looked through it, until picking up a piece of gear which he attached to the window. After a few click sounds could be heard from the piece of equipment attached to the glass, Addams took the piece off, and broke through the glass, with the gloves on his hands still.
Addams: "All clear."
The four agents jumped through the broken window once all the glass had been wiped out, which didn't take much longer than about ten seconds. They began to scan the perimeter once inside the storage house, opening up the different garage doors, and scanning the walls, floor, and ceiling.
Rick: "I'm on with Claire."
Drago: "Great, but, let's try to be quiet since we've got unfriendly neighbors right below our feet. No speaker or anything like that."
Rick: "Yeah yeah, I got it. Claire, you there?"
Claire: "I'm here, what do you need guys?"
Rick: "We're inside the building, and are trying to find some sort of entrance. I need you to check the iCams."
Claire: "Alright, just give me a second."
Rick: "Okay."
As Rick stood there waiting, the others continued walking around, looking for hidden switches, trap doors, whatever could lead them to the underground jail. Drago laid down on the floor, pressing his ear against the cement.
Addams: "Sir...I don't think this is a good time to sleep on the job."
Drago: "Be quiet!"
Addams: "Alright..."
Drago closed his eyes, trying to listen closer, to what was going on down below them. After waiting a little though, trying to hear out for something, he could barely hear a certain, yet peculiar noise.
Drago: "I think I hear...."
Claire: "Alright, I'm back."
Drago: "..an alarm."
Zack: "What?"
Drago: "An alarm's gone off in the prison. I don't know what, but, something's going on down there."
Claire: "Rick, our team just scanned the iCams, and I need to tell you something."
Rick: "What is it Claire?"
Claire: "We spotted multiple cargo trucks driving across the city, all headed for the same direction."
Rick: "Cargo trucks, is it.."
Claire: "Yep. It's Blackout."
Rick: "..Okay."
Rick stood there a little silent, hanging up, and locked eyes with his friends.
Rick: "The re-location trucks have entered Sunnyvale."Last edited by Dragonvarsity; 06-29-2012 at 09:20 PM.

Zeta felt the breath knocked out of her as she hit the water. Cold rushed in through every pore, flooding her mind. All other thoughts were lost in white explosion of bubbles.
Squeezing her eyes shut she kicked for the surface, emerging in a crescendo of waves and spray. After the silence of the ocean, the wind seemed to change from a whistle to a howl. Grimly she struck out for the shore, glad her pack was air tight; not weighing her down.
After an half an hour she reached out a leg and felt rough grains of sand. Gasping, she hauled herself up onto the beach.
Zeta would go through almost anything for what she felt was important. But that didn't mean she wouldn't cough and splutter out a stream of complaints at a tiny passing crab.
Opening her pack, she was relieved to see not a drop of sea water had seeped inside. She drew out a belt, and fitted five power cells to it. This would help her travel over the forest. It would allow her to fly a short distance, up to 7 metres above the ground. As long as the fog lingered over the trees, it would be the perfect method of transport. Very quiet, and not generating anything that would be detected unless she kicked a soldier in the head.
Mercenaries in this area were paranoid, and would travel in groups. Zeta was sure she would sense them far before they sensed her. Their paranoia was justified, this area was highly volatile. In fact, there wasn't so much a firm line between Microsoft and Sony here, but a blurry cloud. It hadn't been very interesting beforehand, in the time of peace both fractions had ignored it, neither had guarded it exactly jealously.
Now, however, it was a possible gateway for attack; a weak point of chaos.
Zeta activated the belt, ascended and flew outwards across the forest, a foot away from the edge of the canopy. It wasn't too fast, but the breeze was chilling her to the bone. At least the air was not humid, shivering, she was still glad she would soon dry off.

GDN tried to follow Mercuy through the door, but he was already gone. A troop of soldiers were headed his way.
Sargeant: Commander! Is everything OK? We heard a commotion...
GDN(sad): Everything's just...
GDN glanced back at his room, still messy from the fight.
GDN: Everything is fine. Now excuse me, but I have to get back to my post.
He walked back inside, closing the door behind him once again.
Sargeant(to others): I can tell by his tone that everything's not fine...
As GDN checked his computer trying to find out what exactly Merc could have copied, his cellphone rang.
"Great. Wouldn't be surprised at all if it was a bomb in disguise..."
He picked up and answered:
GDN: Hel...
Zim(frantic): GDN, glad you picked up!
GDN: Whoa, slow down! What is it, girl?
Zim: Sorry. Is that I have something really important to talk to you about...
GDN: Oh my... What have I done now?
Zim: What are you talking about?
GDN: Nothing, go ahead.
Zim: Well, it is that I have been having these... Dreams, and they are star...
GDN: Wait, wait, wait, you want to talk to me about your dreams?
Zim: GDN, listen to this, it is important! They're not any kind of dream... I actually have visions of our long-gone doppelgangers in them!
GDN: Wait, what?
Zim: Well, mine at least. And it is not limited to dreams... I swear I saw data me stalking me multiple times!
GDN: Don't you suppose that's just paranoia?
Zim(nervous): I'm telling you, soldier! They are coming back!
GDN: Well, I suppose we could have a talk. But not right now, I have been through much lately, I just want to lay down and rest for a while, ok?
Zim: I suppose...
GDN: Next lunch, maybe? We could meet at the food court at the mall and you tell me what's really bugging you.
Zim: Fine... Later.
GDN simply hung up the phone and tried to rest his head on the desk.

((WELL, you see... Yeah I was lazy, never again though.))
"Jason, why couldn't we just tell everyone to meet up somewhere instead of going on this insane goose chase?"
"Oh come on, you're having fun aren't you? I know Pete's having fun." Pete rolled his eyes.
"See? Anyway, Erin should be here any minute."
"You could've at least picked a better place than a parking garage."
"I didn't pick the place. Erin just thought she was being follo- It looks like she was right." While they were talking, what looked like 7 Blackout agents had already surrounded the three of them.
"Hello friends! Come to join the party?" Weapons locked on them, and the squad brought out theirs, or rather, reached for them and realized that they hadn't been issued any yet. "Umm." Things weren't looking good, but it was too early in the war for them to be shot. Erin picked this time to show up, a katana coming accross one of troops' neck, and alerting the rest to her presence without coming out of the shadows. The men and their trigger fingers swiftly unloaded on the man. She kicked him out into the circle and slashed the chest of the next in line, and another stab through the next. With all of them distracted by Erin's blade, it gave the other 3 the chance to attack the rest of tackle the Blackout agents and take their weapons while Erin grabbed the last one by the neck and choked him out cold.
"Well, that's the last of them. Nice timing by the way Erin."
"And you say that you're always the one getting us out of trouble."
"No, I just plan to get us into trouble so that you guys can do the getting out of it for me."
"...It's depressing that your description is accurate. Either way, don't we have a mission to get to?"
"We've still got to get Eve and Zak."
"Uh..." Jason started to speak up. "I forgot to mention that Eve was captured."
"Forgot?"
"Neglected."
"Captured by who?"
"Microsoft."
"Jail?"
"Yep."
"Why?"
"Explosives."
"What?"
"Explosives."
"All right, want to go get her?"
"I'm not paying."
"Deal."
