Three weeks ago I tried out the music sequencer for the first time and really had a blast making songs. I've been playing piano for six years, so it wasn't too hard to get the hang of it. Some music galleries I've seen have 40 or more songs. I only have 6 songs, but I spent a long time on each one.
I also designed a jukebox to play my songs. Each summer when I was a kid, my family and I visited this old, run down lodge. I would always be putting coins into this jukebox. I have fond memories of being there, playing in the snow, and classic rock tunes playing on the jukebox. When I make music I always try to think of memories like this.
Sorry, I don't know how to show the pictures, so I linked the photos from lbp.me of my level.

That music is pretty awesome! Sweet jukebox, too. One of those songs was the kind of music I was looking for before I published my laser chess level. I'll be looking forward to more of your music. If you could, please check out the level in my sig.
Please check out my newest level, Treasure Dash! http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/sho...Treasure-Dash!

great looking jukebox and excellent music. One tiny issue though. why are the records off center? I think would look better if they rotated evenly.

Thanks for the reviews! I'm not exactly sure why the records rotate unevenly. I tried fixing it, but had the hardest time. I'll look at it again, see if I can figure it out.
Brannayen, if there is a song you want to use for your game, just ask and I'll give it to you.
Also, I have your level queued.Last edited by Greensmurfy; 07-16-2012 at 03:26 AM.

Neat music! I too am quite passionate about music, or at least I wish I was. I wish I was better at composing, but I guess that's I skill I HAR to practice and learn over time.
I'll be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of some of your songs. Don't take it personally, though. That's just my opinion! I'm thinking that some of the songs would sound absolutely beautiful on piano, but they dont translate very well into LittleBigPlanet. I dunno.
Anyways, nice job and good luck with your future compositions! Why not play a tower defense game?

Thanks for being honest. That's the whole point of this feedback system
I'll admit a lot of chords that sound really great on the piano do not translate well into lbp. So, I had to tinker with the songs and work around this. Also, you can hold notes way longer on a piano than on lbp, which is a disadvantage when making mainly piano songs. Anyways, thanks for trying it out.

Great way to present your songs! The jukebox looks really nice! You gotta do something about those records spinning off centre though. If you want, i can take a look at it for you.

Love the jukebox, was really well made! Your music is very original, and I like how you make people earn them!
I'm sure all you need to do is center the rotator on the records to make them spin evenly. When you make an object, if you dont close the popit before selecting a tool, it automaticly puts it dead-center of the item. Hope that helps!I'm always looking for useful feedback on my levels.. currently:

Thanks guys! Sounds like a really good tip Turkey, but I'm not quite following how you put the microchip in dead center.
EDIT: Nevermind I got it. Neat tip Turkey. Thanks! No more wobble.Last edited by Greensmurfy; 07-30-2012 at 03:29 AM.

Just played it and left feedback in the level. I'd love to see more songs like "Mood Swing" and "Heartbeat." Those were my two favorite of the songs and both were worth replaying over and over in the level.

Thanks BIGGamerer, you wrote an awesome review on my music level. I do agree that some of the songs I made can be repetitive. It might be what crazymario was saying that piano songs don't translate too well on lbp or I haven't figured out how to make it work. Heartbeat and Mood Swing feature less piano and are my two favorite too. Thanks for playing!
