You can't heal pickaxes, unfortunately, you just have to keep making more. Bear in mind that weaker materials have lower durability than stronger ones. What material are you using to make your pickaxe?

I been using Cobblestone.

Continuing on my underground tunneling adventure~
For over 12 hours now I have been digging better then any mole-man could hope to match.
I have done it… I have dug all the way off the island till I came across the beach
All the way across from where I started on the island~
But Did I stop there? No way Bro~ Any mole-man worth his way in dirt would not
Stop just because a ocean stands in front of him~ I know there are other islands.
And my tunnels will connect them all together if I have anything to say about it!~

So that’s right. I’ve started digging under the Blue Sea!!
But after a while of digging and almost getting my tunnels flooded once.
I’ve came across a deep underground Cave!!? What ?!something underground
That was not made by me?! That’s crazy talk. But it’s true~ xD
What awaits me in the deep underground sea caves? Only time will tell~

When you look underground, you may come across various ores, such as iron. Iron is quite common and also quite strong, so you should probably go look for some.

I Have Not been finding any Iron ore until just lately...
Plus i did have a good hand full of it... until I fall down a big hole I made and died :I
that's another thing, my tunnels are not the most safe in some areas xD
like in the exit places I made to go up on land... are made with long ladders going way up.
if you mistake fall instead of clime, it'll almost always take half of your HP,
and I have butter fingers sometimes it seems~

PS: BTW there was a Zombie down in the cave i found! D:
PPS: I don't like going outside my tunnels very far... I always get lost

If you don't want to see the less impressive hobbit villages, skip a few minutes to check Rivendell, Moria, etc... They made the halls of Moria so big even the "Far" render distance and the best computers can't render the ceilings and opposite walls. Faithful to the description in the books

Takes 12 hours to get from one end of the server to the nest, and 2 hours to go through all of Moria Such an awesome, yet nerdy server

Those cage things are Monster Spawners. You should destroy it so it doesn't spawn more zombies. There's always a treasure chest near monster spawners, so look for that.

I just blocked off the room that had the Monster Spawner...
I attacked the Monster Spawner for like 30 secs... but it would not die. :/

Oh and I did find a treasure chest by it...
but it did not have much interesting stuff in it. (T_T)

It takes a while to destroy, just keep at it. Surrounding it with torches helps to slow down its spawn rate long enough to destroy it.
