To stop the exaggeration, its because its rather addictive to many, watching it its not quite as entertaining, but once you get into it, its pretty entertaining, may not go as far as calling it "fun," but it IS extremely entertaining.
(Of course it can be fun and its sometimes, but it main point is its entertainment value.

Whoever runs the server (Memodrix) can send a broadcast message that announces things or something blah blah blah.

[Broadcast] is usually either Console or someone using a command to broadcast a message across the server. It's strange that you say no one else noticed it, because a broadcast can be seen by anyone.

You guys ruined it.

Maybe there's a way to make it only seen by certain people, because the first thing it said was something like "Only you can hear me Doopz".

Okay seriously, I'm new to Minecraft, who is [BROADCAST]? They kept speaking to me on the server and refused to tell me who they were, and no one else could hear them. Except for DayneOram who heard them a few times when they tried to convince him to slap me.

So confused.

My latest creation on the server Granted it's not my design, but still my labour. The gallows are neat. You stand someone under the glass "noose", pull the lever, and they fall down a shaft all the way to bedrock (a 1 block deep bit of water on the ceiling slows their fall at the last second). Then the victim burns in a lava pool whilst looking at a small artificial nether, built by dasbas and warlord evil Might upload pics of that too, soon!

Basically there are 2 major settlements; 'Fogtown' run by Alec, and "Teuthidahurst" which is ran by me and Dayne. We suggest settling in Teuthidahurst because it is the only town with plumbing other than Spawntown.

Dayne, why all the security?

I got on your property but the only way I could leave is by typing /spawn or by teleporting to someone, the place is a deathtrap, cursed land! (Of course you get stuck mostly when you teleport to it, but it rarely happens when you walk on it.)

It's seemingly pleasant foliage and grass will become a snare, take hold of what standing you have, and won't even let you turn, until it eats YOUR SOUL.

Ok maybe not but yeah.

Alright, so just joined in on the server fun today, had a look around, found a lot for a house, hanged by Dayne, chased by Alec and Doopz, and chilled on top of Nyan cat. All I need now is permissions to build... *stares at Memodrix*

Got chased by a murderer for ten minutes, got chased by Alec and Doopz, got stuck in Alec's hole, got stuck in Doopz's house many times, got stuck in various places because I can't open doors (), and killed Joruto's dog (sorry ). Interesting experience.

Alec, what texture pack do you use? I can't find the Summerfield texture pack. Also, PERMISSIONS NAO.
