It's obvious how you kill Enderman. You must plan ahead! Always carry 5 buckets of lava, and a shovel. Once you see the Enderman on your screen, prepare. Build a hole, fill it with lava. Then look at him! Watch as he runs towards you and falls in the lava and dies.

Done.

That's almost like my plan.
1) Dig hole 1x1, 2 deep
2) Fill with lava
3) Jump in
4) Burn to death before the enderman reaches you, and pray that there are none around your spawn point.
