Kernel, what's with the score counter at the top left of your screen? Are we a PvP server now? It would explain why I couldn't activate god mode.

Its a mod not sure of the name but you get negative points for killing passive mobs Pigs for example and you additional points by killing aggressive mobs. This mod however doesn't work in SMP.

I would like to apologize to everyone for using commands to give myself benefits I didnt earn. Everyone else gets theyre XP by doing it right, but I cheated and used commands to get it rather than do it legitimately. Now the server is down for a little while fixing the loophole I unfairly exploited. However, after now, it will no longer be a problem. No, Im back down to level 1, and I have start over and do it all the right way. However, I can assure you if giving myself XP was against the rules or hacking, I wouldnt have done it. It was built into the mc command system, and its quite difficult to read unwritten rules. Now, I have received my punishment, and it will certainly never happen again.

By "benefits" I mean 100% double drops, minutes long lasting abilities, and a massive variety of stuff from dirt.

This was a pretty big deal, but I only disovered it like last week... Imagine if I hadnt been discovered, and this had been abused by others for months. I suppose its for the best.

It was just skill levels. I didn't really mind, but it was unfair to other players (and would kind of make the whole XP thing pointless if everybody had started doing it). Besides, we have access to other mod-like commands, so it's not unreasonable that someone wouldn't think twice about having access to commands like that.

In unrelated news, I'm going to need you to come and remove a sign with me the next time we're both on.

Also I've started work on a forest of giant trees, which is coming along quite nicely if I may say so. We also apparently have a world of floating islands now, though I haven't been there myself yet.

Also, wouldn't it be EPIC if you could find bones in dirt? Like fossils?
