Nevermind, We probably aren't getting minecraft... the demo barely works on my computer even when the rendering distance is short, smooth lighting is off, and graphics are fast...

Wow, Minecraft doesn't exactly have next-gen graphics... are you trying to run it on a Commadore64?

It eats up your ram though, and does render quite a bit.
Try updating your graphics card driver. Fixed it for me (Though Sony's latest driver for my card (Modified cards FTL) was ancient, still fixed my problem )

So, I decided to cave and download modloader. I intend on getting Pfaeffs Mod, simply because all of the cool stuff it adds.

I think there is if you type in /res help 1 in game you wil get a list of commands regarding residences, there is 6 pages so ues /res help 2,3,4... On one page there are commands like rent, sell and buy.

I finally ponied up and decided to hop on the bandwagon. I am now a proud owner of Minecraft. I've started off in some single player to get the hang of it and I'm ready to start multiplayer.

How do I get on the server and such? I'm too lazy to search the thread.
