Server IP is craftworld.minecraft.cm, Wouldn't be going to crazy with the building though, we're moving the whole server over to a new world with the 1.8 release so we can get all of the features out of it.

No, we will have our current world as a secondary one when 1.8 is released.

The PAX release of 1.8 is scheduled to be released on September the 8th.

Looks grim to get a release out on 8th. We need more testing, one day is not enough. And we never release on fridays... I'll keep you posted

There is only two things bugging me about 1.8, as I can judge from the many videos I have seen.

-Where in the world are all the trees.
-Why is everything so pale.

As far as the trees, you are prolly seeing the new plains biome! Have to make houses outta dirt like the pioneers!

You could always install your own clientside one. I run Rei's Minimap v1.7 currently, and it works great. The only thing I noticed is that Cave View and Entity Tracker only work in singleplayer (for obvious anti-cheating reasons).
