New mob weeeee

Got frustrated with AWS, so I made a new mob! : D imgur.com/ADYrx?full

It will be craftable, is friendly, and throws snowballs at enemies. Also melts in hot biomes.

Also, they spread snow by walking around. Nice.

The snowmen are ridiculously suicidal, throwing snowballs at creepers and spiders, annoying them to attack the snowmen. It's funny. : D

Remember that snowballs deal 0 damage.

Sorry, did I say "snow man", I meant to say "SNOW GOLEM", of course.

I have recently discovered something. I hate poisonous spiders. Hate hate hate HATE them. There should be an antidote in game, or like, a vaccine which works the same way as armour, but to protect against poisoning.

There IS a vaccine that protects you from poisonous spiders. It's called Lava Buckets.

Someone keeps destroying the Melon plants i'm planting, I don't know if this was by mistake or not but if you do accidentally destroy a plant then please can you sacrifice a delicious slice of melon in order to replant it.

Good news:

bukkit for 1.8.1 is out now, and we will be moving to it now.

Acceptable News:
until the plugins we use are updated we will remain on the vanilla server's map.

also:
It seems like some plugins may bite the big one, as big deals like this tend to thin the plugin developer herd a little. Big brother is the first (and biggest) casualty. However, it seems it is getting merged with another plugin, so we'll be golden soon i think.

We'll do a 1.9 pre-release today, and a full release after feedback. More Adventure Mode content will come in 1.10, we're splitting it up

Looks like we'll need a new new bukkit soon.

Some screenshots I got of the Nether in the 1.9 Pre Release.

I also spotted some Nether Slimes, same as normal Slimes except they're black with red fiery eyes. I saw a couple near my portal, but I forgot to get a shot of them before I killed them and then flew for ages and couldn't find another. Oh well!

EDIT: Finally found some more. They move like an accordion when they jump. So weird.

Some weird floor fence sorta thingies I found near some stairs. Dunno why there's soul sand beneath them, I'm guessing that was intentional.

Now, don't quote me on this, but I think that may just be bugged Nether Warts, which seem to be new plants that grow in the Nether, on top of soul sand.

Also: DEM MUSHROOM BIOMES!!!
