Hola. I decided to come back and visit this site, so I came in here to see what's going on. Anywho, I can't help but respond to this:

You probably don't watch too much TBG. This is an actual review. For real. Yes, they do fake ones on purpose to p*ss off people, but this is truly their only real one. It is very VERY hard not troll with this review Minecraft when it really is everything they said it was in the video. You hardly need any effort to criticize Minecraft because of the many flaws it has, and Notch himself is becoming a jerk.

So yes, it is to troll people. However, they didn't even need to lie in order to get people mad: this is an honest review.

Yogscast is known for their rude remarks, although I still feel like Notch had it coming. They (Yogscast) interviewed him and they were talking about rather innapropriate content (masturbating) and yet they had a good laugh. Notch invited them to come over to the Minecon, which he should have known was a bad idea. He then bashed on them for their behavior as though he never met them before.

Well, according to Yogscast, some of the stuff Notch said was a complete lie. Although your inclined to believe yogscast because they seem more mature(bear in mind theyve had like a week to write this out("getting rest" my a**)), I have to wonder... WHos lieing? Also, another thing... In that post, they say "it wasnt what they expected when they go off the plane from minecon", yet in an earlier post by them, it said they would "respond to his tweets when they got back from their 24 hour flight." Maybe it was just one of their many flights back to the UK they got off of? And so they still had a lot more flying to do?

I believe Yogcast more than Notch. Simply because I hate Notch with a passion. He doesn't give a rat's *** about the people that buy his game (see review above).

He just wants the money money.

Also the fact that he tweeted and said...

I agree. Yogscast doesnt look like the people to write "******* off" To a young fan. Theres tons of videos of them at minecon, signing autographs and they seemed very nice. Maybe Notch just blew his top under the pressure of sleep deprivation!
Im glad Yogscast didnt cast a rude remark back. They handled it very well.

Ugh.. can we please move on from the whole notch and Yogscast thing? We've established that it was all notch's fault, possibly as a result of being tired and/or drunk. But ultimately, he's admitted to being in the wrong and apologised, so I don't get why people are still talking about this.

    K sounds good.

So does anyone know when we can get the Bukkit server updated and get all of our plugins back? Still don't really feel my stuff is safe without chest locks, although i know none of you would do something like that. Also reminding everyone that if you're in survival and there's no other food, grab a fishing rod and get fish, because fish are always there.

Yes, as soon as the Bukkit's RB (Recommended Build) comes out. When will that come out? We don't know. However long it takes the Bukkit developers and testers to fix it all up. Keep checking the Bukkit website for info on that.

Quick note, Kernel has taken it upon himself to save the world (literally!) every couple of hours, so we don't lose stuff to corruptions.

Default Ideas for our next permanent world

Here are some ideas I've compiled with others for our next world with Bukkit:
    -Remove creative mode from mods.
-Add a ranking system that isn't just "Player, mod, admin".
-Control mods so they, not just players, have to follow the rules.
-Punish both players and mods if they don't follow rules. (Warn, Kick, Jail, Jail longer, Jail and Exile, Ban)
-Allow players to have more freedom, with rules and powers. ( May seem contradictory with the rule above, so let
me explain. There will be more general rules that contain specific rules, and if they are broken, severity
and/or repetition will be the final factors in punishment.)
-Encourage good behavior, using a ranking system and giving rewards to good, civil helpers.
-Vote on rules at the start of our next world. These rules should include "basic server rules", but player, mod AND
admins should vote on other rules, such as mod usage.

Feel free to add, remove, or talk about any or all of the rules on this list. I truly hope this list will make our next world one of the best and most enjoyable.

I...am beginning to think that i have missed some things.

    -Remove creative mode from mods.
Creative WILL be removed from the mods, but this being a temporary world i didn't care too much to op them so they could do some admin stuff.

-Add a ranking system that isn't just "Player, mod, admin".
-Encourage good behavior, using a ranking system and giving rewards to good, civil helpers.
rankings, hrm. i dunno. i'm not even fond of the one we have, TBH. if yer talking about powers, that might just happen, but no promises from the gnome on that point.

-Vote on rules at the start of our next world. These rules should include "basic server rules", but player, mod, AND admins should vote on other rules, such as mod usage.
Rules....Yea. perhaps I should start a thread for that discussion instead of clogging up this one any more than we already do. we'll get to that in a day or so i suspect.

    .......such as mod usage.
I am the one who decides what mod usage people get on the normal world, that's why we didn't have mods with ungodly amounts of diamond/gold. well, more than the regular players who had ungodly amounts.

-Control mods so they, not just players, have to follow the rules.
-Punish both players and mods if they don't follow rules. (Warn, Kick, Jail, Jail longer, Jail and Exile, Ban)
    most importantly, //Begin rant
MODS ARE SUBJECT TO THE SAME RULES ANDS PUNISHMENTS AS REGULAR PLAYERS! HOWEVER, IF I KNOW NOTHING OF THE PROBLEM AND YOU DON'T COMMUNICATE WITH ME, I CAN'T DO A DARN THING ABOUT IT
    // end rant

By all means, PM me, Tweet me, or do something if this is an issue!!

That was going to happen anyway. I don't want to have access to it at all times- it saps out the fun. But you make it sound like we were doing bad? So far I've used my creative mode to build you a brewing tower, and a railway to Warlord's town, a nether transit system to your tundra, a public lodge in your tundra, a large portion of your house, and my own little treehouse. Blowing random caves to smithereens with TNT was just a little fun one day. Didn't hurt anyone.

Such as? There aren't a great deal of commands etc. for Moderators, let alone for other ranks.

Excuse me? The last time I broke a rule was on our last server, and I spent 5 minutes in jail because of it.
And theziminvader has NEVER broken a rule.

More freedom? That's why I tried to concentrate it to 5 rules. Don't grief, don't steal, don't hax, don't be inappropriate and listen to mods / memo.

I built half your house, and restored SpiderJew's items + an upgrade. And I give out cookies for good behaviour.
I can see the appeal of a "goodness" rank, though. Could also double up as a trustworthy meter.

Sure thing. We'll start up a thread, like Memo said.

About the whole "keeping mod powers down" etc...
The less powers we have, the less aptly we can deal with rule breaks. That griefer who hopped on the server and destroyed your chest of diamonds? Lost forever. We won't be able to replace anything.
That explosion which took out half your home? Good luck repairing it yourself. We won't be able to perform rollbacks.
That guy who keeps breaking your stuff, punching you, and won't leave you alone? Nothing we can do. We can't freeze or jail him anymore.
What's that? You were at a stronghold 5000 blocks away and just died? No TP for you. We don't have that either.

All I'm saying is, there are Moderators to do half the stuff Memodrix does, so he doesn't get bombarded with requests, and you don't all have to wait a few days for him to get online. If we abuse our powers (And I mean abuse them, not make a pretty home for ourselves. That's called splashing out a little) you tell Memodrix straight away, and it will be taken care of.

Basic moderating commands involve "Kick" and "ban". What's the use of kicking off someone who's breaking the rules, when he'll just come back online? And what if you accidentally break a rule? Would you prefer that we banned you? Because that's the only thing we could do.

I'm sorry if I seem mad, but I just feel you're all looking at us and going "THEY HAVE MORE POWER THAN US! THEY ARE INSTANTLY HORRIBLE PEOPLE. LET'S MAKE MEMODRIX STOP THEM." And that hurts.
