The server has officially caused me to defecate upon the interior of my undergarments.

I was going through a cave system, when I found a spider. I attacked the spider, but suddenly it dissapeared. I didnt think much of it.
Later, I was going through a passage, where there were only 2 directions to go, when I found some coal. I dug the coal out, then went up and turned around, and the room behind the passage I had come through was completely filled with lava and the way into the room was sealed by iron bars. As I got really confused, and was thinking how sure I was that this was the way I had come, the bars started suddenly breaking(not dissapearing, breaking, like with the little particles coming out). Then the lava just vanished, and the room was back to the way it was when I had come through it. I pooped myself and screamed for kern, the only mod, and by the time he came, the room had filled with a layer of water, like the lava before.
Whether it was kern like he said or not, random walls I had come through and floors and ceilings randomly started to cover themselves with stone, so that the passages appeared to be not there. Eventually, the water in the room turned back into lava, and is now obsidian. Also, the last haunted thing I saw, I managed to get a picture of:



Moments later however, it turned back into the regular passage it had been before. What the freaking mother of holes happened in those ten minutes, I do not know. I am now afraid of the server.
Also, the picture above is at y coordinate 40, which is far higher than where diamond can be found normally.

ATMLVE, the next time you are going into the cave... you're never coming back! The exits of the mine will mysteriously disappear. You won't find the surface world no matter how much you try to dig you way up. Your torches will be suddenly knocked off the walls. The tunnels will close in on you. The server mods won't be able to hear your cries of help. And you'll be a prisoner of the darkness...

I have a sneaking suspicion as to what happened. it appears that i may need to take some perms away from the mods.

No thats what I thought too, but this was a regular cave, AND it was the passage I had just come through. And you know how sometimes you find in caves those like bigger circular rooms? Well it was one of those, and the bars were just blocking the little like 7 block entrance into this room. Which was suddenly coated in lava, which had not been there a minute previously. And I could see the passage beyond that I had come through, with my torches.

And also, ill say it again, when the bars started breaking themselves, they werent disappearing like they do when theres block lag. They broke with particles, like the ones that come out when you eat food. Dunno if youve ever given it a thought, but when you break a block, little pieces of it come out and despawn. And the bars were breaking like that one by one, just as though some invisible creative person was breaking them.

TL;DR for the second paragraph: The bars were not despawning, they were being manually broken.

Kern decided to make a "Lag Intensifier" which made me lag like heck, then created a something like a 125x125 iron bar sphere in front of my house, destroying my perfect waterfall covering my house, then created a huge lava fountain, poured water on it, creating a big cobblestone tower.

I think the next Mods should be Whale or (Perhaps) Eoghan. Don't know if Eoghan would be suited for the job if a mod status was open, though. And why isnt Das a mod anymore? And what happened to zim?! D:

Everything I have built or destroyed in the past two days, and everywhere around it, has mysteriously disappeared/ been reverted to it's original state. My house. Is gone. My underground hideout. Is gone. Eoghan's house. Is gone. My forest. Is gone. HELP ME I AM GOING TO CRY.

EDIT: Looking at the Dynmap, a 500x500 black square of what looks like unloaded chunks seems to now be surrounding everywhere I had built in. Could this have something to do with it? I'm super duper annoyed. The 'explored' area inside is everywhere that I walked around in before realising that something had gone horrendously wrong.

I left a note on the To Do board asking your opinion, because I felt we needed an active American Moderator, since Octavio barely has time to do so, and Josh is very capable of filling the gap. He's had plenty of experience being an admin on a larger server than ours, and is very familiar with all the commands.

I believe I also sent you a message on LBPC too, though I've not heard back. In which case I thought it best to obtain Kernel's opinion on the matter, and then Mod him with a handful of witnesses around; and hoped you wouldn't see any problem with the situation. I apologise, and I'll be sure to obtain your permission on the matter before making any such decisions.

As for Joey's situation, I have absolutely no idea what could have happened, unless it could have been a HawkEye rollback gone wrong, but when I partially ruined several of my OWN homes (and only mine) on my first try with the command, I decided not to rollback anymore.

Actually your waterfall disappearing was nothing to do with me, and the "lag intensifier" as you call it only existed for about 10 seconds

Okay, I just want to say a massive thank you to Kern. He's spent the last hour or so fiddling with dials and knobs on his mod panel of magic, and after much trial-and-error, has restored my structures to their former glory. DON'T NOT MAKE HIM A MOD FOR THE LOVE OF NOTCH.

I don't know where joey's house was, but i did have to fix a GINORMOUS crater that had been covered up when I got home this morning. it may have ended up a victim. Sorry if that's the case.
