But NOT the overused forest one. With the tall trees and lakes. Please get a different one, that one is SO overused.

Actually, you can make some pretty good looking terrains with very little practice.

Because people can come and go from games as they please, which defeats the object of the survival. And if they can't, there's no point in having a permanent world.

You can set it up so there are games every X increments of time.

Hey, could somebody help me with Minecraft? This laptop (yes, LAPTOP) is having issues with java and "internet connection settings" when I try to re-install Java. It says that the installer cannot proceed with the current internet connection settings. I tried searching for what the problem was, but it certainly WAS NOT the Internet connection settings. They're all fine.

I also resetted my laptop to different times (like when I downloaded latest versions of Java). Whenever I click on In Browser to play, it loads with the Java sign on it, but it goes to a black screen (black screen of death?). This happens when I tried download the offline version of Java. When I hit the refresh button, it just says an error about Java and that's it. No details on what the error is.

Anybody know how to fix this for a laptop? Minecraft did work once with a decent amount of RAM and with little lag.

First of all... what OS is your laptop running? It is hard to help when little information is provided. I would also try downloading the client because it runs much better than the in-browser version.

And the reason no-one goes on the server is because of a loop. People see there's no-one online and decide they don't want to go online. Which is exactly what happens to the next person. And the next...

We could try signing on and going afk for 10 or 15 minutes while you grab some food, and that may be enough time to grab someone else's attention!

Otherwise, as Tan says, it'll be a ghost town for a long time.. It's like everyone's died and gone up to the great 1.7.3 world in the sky...

And yea, people might be doing the Karting BETA. Im like the only one on LBPC who didnt get a code :/

And Im not gonna be on the server because I downgraded to Alpha 1.2.6 to play Single Player until 1.3. Then Ill come back.

You do know you could just play single player on 1.2.5...
