So when will the server not require a snapshot? Im not complaining, just asking. Not sure how much minecraft Ill be able to play because my computer now lags if I have two youtube videos playing at once, and continues to be slow after I shut them down, such as clicking on the scroll bar on the right and having to wait a few seconds to scroll, or clicking on a new tab and waiting 10 seconds for the page to load from top to bottom, even though it already loaded.

Its not that. My moms work laptop works fine, its just that the one I use is from around 2003. Its a miracle it works at all actually...

GUYS! I HAD AN IDEA!
Okay, okay, follow along with me here.

I was working on my map, and I figured I'd try to find a stable working version of McEdit that I could use.
then, I got it working finally after some tweaking! So I decided to check it out and see if I could import stuff from map to map... AND I CAN, without removing ANY of my items, even modded ones, including Npcs.

So here's what I was thinking.
since a lot of you are really skilled at building things, I was hoping some of you might be able to assist in helping me make my map?
Buildings, Temples, entire towns, whatever you can offer.

All you'd have to do is go on a creative flatlands map and build something, then send me the map file and I could move it from your map to my map in a nice spot
If anyone is interested, here's what I was needing since I'm garbage at building most things :P

• A small 7 house village, not too big, any theme will do.
• A larger village with a fountain in the middle, maybe 7-9 houses and a small farm of some sort.
• A big library.
• A chapel of some sort,
• Trading Stalls of different colors (I could do this but I can't seem to get it right :C)
• A fortune teller's tent.
• A market place of some sort with a fountain in the middle
• Buildings, lots of different types of buildings that I can plop down radomly around the map.
• Ruins, Temples, hidden stuff, redstone staircases with hidden chambers, ect.

Anyone who contributes will get a place at the credit hall I plan on putting in people who inspired the map, people who helped, and just friends who showed support. All your Characters will be dancing, with little things they wanna say (You can choose those)

I really wanna get some of you involved, because I love having my friends get in the things I make
Plus, this is a huge project, and I could use some help. Maybe even someone to provide quest ideas.

i shall work on a chapel of some sort for you! does it need to be huge? or just big? dunno if you remember the creeper temple but i could put together something slightly less tall for ya, sans giant creeper statue.

It doesn't have to be huge, just big enough to look realistic.
It's gonna be the spot for a very important quest, one that will give you an awesome holy blade.

It works fine on the server now, not much changed between 12w30e (what we have on the server now) and 1.3.

Sorry I haven't been on MC lately... I'm getting this strange gamebreaking lag on this PC... Yet not on the family one. :/ I get maybe 10 minutes of good playtime, then it's lag lag lag lag lag lag for a while. I even quit the game and it's still like that. Does it on the Technic launcher, as well.

We aren't using pre. 1.3 on the server yet though.

I don't get the difference between 12w30e and 1.3pre, because both are the same thing. There are no new features nor bug fixes on this version.
