so... I built a roommate for my floating island... I shall call him Geoff the 3rd... y'all should go visit him.

I figured out why they jumped off but my solution came too late...
oh the horror... *cries*

also, can i build a bridge / path leading from the base of my sky ladder to the first (not ground) floor of the train station near spawn? So people can get to my city easier.

As long as you don't modify or build ONTO the station, just next to it, I don't see why not. I'll maybe start off a little path you can continue when I get online.

Btw, from spawn station, go left until the dead end. (Takes you near games house). That exit from the station that goes right. (Currently a dead end)

That one never goes anywhere. Ever. I refuse to have a rail go right above my house. I will leave a sign if there is any confusion.

Don't worry, I don't build rails over or too close to peoples' properties. I don't even branch every station either, because it would just end up like a massive grid, which would get ugly and confusing.

Minecraft 1.4.1 Pre-release!

A day -1 patch! Lovely! No but seriously, there was a big issue causing mobs to suffocate and fall through wooden floors that we really needed to fix. The full list of fixes are…

■Fixed mobs glitching through wooden floors
■Fixed players glitching through Beacons
■Fixed Redstone Repeaters getting stuck in ‘on’ state
■Bats spawn less frequently
■A number of minor font fixes
■Activated the Wither painting
■Fixed wet wolves looking way too scary
■Tweaked naming costs in the Anvil
■Tweaked enchantment points reward for smelting
■Fixed bug that allowed any item to be placed in the armor slots
■Fixed mob spawners spawning too quickly

Since we do these pre-releases mainly to prepare modders and server admins (and not to find and fix bugs), we’ve decided to push the release of 1.4(.1) one day to Thursday, October 25. Again, since I know this is a lot of text to read:

My end goal is to have an entire self sufficient city (so far I have an inn... well... sort of an unfinished inn for visitors... in addition I'm gonna attempt to turn a useless but nice looking item into a currency and get an economy established up there with shops and everything)

Okay, so I'm on the server, four people on who I've never seen before are on, and they won't answer me ;_; Monsterhaj, TobiasNinja2004, Lucashansen2004 (didn't catch the other one, they left). Memo hasn't seen them before either. Anyone know/invite these people? Just curious.

never heard of them... make sure they keep off my city, there's lots of water up there... you could say they slipped

after the mod abuse... err creative re-designing (don't worry it's old water under the bridge now) that I got yesterday I'm not being too careful now.
