the 1.4.6 bukkit updated hasn't come out, and the latest 1.4.5 bukkit update is doing screwy things.

I can't use any tools, open any doors, use any commands or interact with anything. I literally get a message saying "You don't have permission to use X". I can't even eat stuff.

Are these the screwy things you're talking about Memo?

sorry, my cable got knocked out by an errant truck or something, killed my interwebs whilst I was trying to fix it. It's a bpermissions issue that I can't quite sort out.


So put the server world on the 1.4.6 beta bukkit with a temporary world or try to keep the 1.4.5 for now?


edit again!: I seem to have overwritten my 1.4.5 jar so now I can't log in to the server. I can only fiddle with the control panels, and not do stuff whilst in game.

Save the 1.4.5 world, and do a temp 1.4.6 beta bukkit world

after a few more of the regulars weigh in I'll see what I'm gonna do. But my god, looking at the console makes my latent programmer cry tears of schadenfreude. You should NEVER see that much error/garbage in the console. OF ANYTHING!!

I would only like that if we can keep the current world online simultaneously.. I'm currently on a little project of my own, and I know a few other people are on other projects currently that they probably don't want to give up :/

EDIT: On second thoughts, I downloaded the craftworld as a backup as I fixed the permissions error. (I just updated bpermissions.)

But we're still getting a lot of nasty looking errors in the console, so maybe an update wouldn't be too bad..

BTW if any of you can get on, can you remove all my christmas presents? Most chests are empty and I won't have time to fill them anymore.
Thereby giving only some people a gift, while others are stuck with an empty chest. Then I'd rather give nothing at all and give everyone something ... Something awesome next year. :/

Well, if it can't be solved for now, maybe we should try playing on a temporary 1.4.6 world while we wait for a fix. It'd be better than nothing. Either way I log on more to chat with people than to build stuff.
Edit: Oh, so it's fixed now. Great! Disregard that.

Anyway, I'd like to thank you Memo (and Dayne and the rest of the people involved) for renting, maintaining and moderating a server, and thus providing us with a place where we can all play together. We all really appreciate the effort you guys put into this, and that doesn't get said enough.

/cremove, then click on your chest. It should remove the lock, so that everyone can raid it.

You can use /plugins in the game, it should show you all the current plugins on the server.
