Jeb's improving the biomes.

The last couple of days I've been working on improving the world generator for Minecraft (PC). This is the biome overview that I use to see how biomes appear next to each other.

Deserts that aren't near tundras? Actual continents and oceans? Maybe even new biomes? Hell yes. Now if only they included actual snowpeaked mountain ranges reaching up to the sky instead of pathetic little hills.

Edit- Next time it goes down, I'm going to leave it down for a little. It's not worth it to restart the server every 10 minutes...

That looks like a legitimately good way to get around the Nether, though. Now someone needs to add some hueg creepers that you can grapple.

I'm loving Attack on Titan and I normally despise anime (only other anime I've liked until now was FMA: Brotherhood). So that says a lot.

It has an interesting premise, it doesn't go overboard with the japanese clichés that I loathe, and the animation quality is terrific to boot.

If any of you know what McPvP is, that's what I've been playing a lot lately. It has about 3,000,000 players that have joined the server, and are famous for their soup plugin, which restores hearts. They have gamemodes like Hardcore Games with 80+ kits, Capture The Flag, Smash (SSBB), Sabotage, Zone Control, KitPvP, and the hardcore servers.

So yea, I've been doing that. I've gotten good at this thing called "hotkeying," where basically you have your sword in your 1 slot, compass in 9 slot, and soup in the middle. When you're fighting someone, you quickly switch to your soup, drink it, and go back to your sword and keep fighting. Its a really neat feature and I think its what makes the server unique, because its not all ping based and requires some skill.

Server should be relatively stable, now. PermGen size was increased slightly so we shouldn't run out of room for loaded classes, anymore

Hey guys! Been a while, hasn't it? Well anyway, I'm aware most of you have all gone to other servers and such now, but I just wanted to let you know I've updated lbpcraftworld.net to 1.6.2, and am in the process of setting up the plugins again. I spent most of yesterday having to completely set up the permissions from scratch, so I'm afraid you'll be a Newbie unable to do things until you get promoted to member. The people who can do that as of this moment are myself, Memodrix, The_Toxisity, Eoghan797 and bagheadinc. Memodrix and I can do this from a web based console, so if no-one is on the server then get a message to us and I'm sure we can do it as soon as we have an internet connection.

If you find any problems on the server relating to permissions or plugins, don't hesitate to get in touch with me.
Furthermore, I will be making a room for the mods and players listing most of what commands they have available.

Some of the major ones are /tpa, /tpahere, the ability to use colours (&0,1,2,3,4...), formatting (I forget how that's done), and the matrix code (&k). You'll have sethome, home, and I believe I've set it up so you get a bed home AND a regular home. I'm reinstally residence as we speak, dynmap is churning out a full render, and I will be about to reinstall LogBlock if I can get that working too.

We'll look into additional plugins at your guys' request, as long as they're within reason and not radical changes

EDIT: LogBlock and Residence are installed and working, it seems, though I've lacked guinea pigs to test these things on. You'll also keep your EXP on death, which I know will be handy ^^

Renovated the Spawn point as well, with a lovely jungle theme and a room for the commands. Oh, and a hanging cage jail too. :}
