I just got Minecraft and have been checking out the servers for a couple of hours now.
So I hear there's a LBPC server for this?

You see, if this thread didn't become about Whaaaaale's server, this thread would be more about MineCraft. You would then know that the servers are currently going crazy, and it's near impossible to log into any SMP server.

Seriously, I come to this thread for MineCraft. Not people begging about wanting the server to be open or complaining about not being logged in. I'm pretty sure there has been like, 5 pages of 'When will the server open?', and 'Oh no I can't log in!'

Sorry if this sounds rude, but I really think you guys should start a thread dedicated to the server.

I can see that posting about the server being on and off would annoy people (I am one of those responsible for doing so). To be honest, I don't think it needs a new thread for it. We have a group I think..but no one checks it.

You still can talk about general minecraft stuff here. It's just that most of the active people on here usually play on the server as well. Which is why we generally want to discuss stuff about it.

On another note I think we probably should try have a basic plan on what we want for the city. As right now it is just random stuff everywhere. I know this has already been mentioned before but I want to bring it up again.

Don't come in here expecting to read about Minecraft when your not really helping either, people will post what they want to post, if people want to know when the server is up they will do so and have the right to do so. It's not like I jacked the thread, it's about Minecraft in general So talking about when the LBPC Minecraft server is up is not off topic.

is completely over. That was when the servers were migrating. Server's are all coolio now it's just that my server wasn't even up when I said it was, I pressed the wrong **** button again. :\

Okay, funny (and aggravating) story guys.
I went on minecraft a day ago, and my game was gone, all my hard work and stuff was gone... i was yelling and shouting, screaming profanity left and right.

So, i just started a new game, i got about 80 percent done with my new home (Which by the way rocks hard)
When i decide to pay a visit to the nether...

When i got there i got some soul sand and left, when i exited... I ended up at my old game's house, at my nether portal...
MY GAME WASN'T GONE!
AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!
I freaked out again, hugging my computer and crying.
So then i used the invedit to finish my new house.
And i now have two wonderful places to live.
