*sigh* here is a better idea... ban the IP! thats would be better, that way if josh isn't lying, he will still be able to play on another computer... and then others at the library can't play, even if they found the IP. hows that seem?

Well, I can't prove anything with regards to connections to the Minecraft server, but as for the forums...

Checking through the server logs, the "Ilikefire" account was created from the same IP from which Joshofsouls logged out of LBPC from, just two minutes apart.

The IP address is registered to "Richland Public Library", but based on previous access logs they appear to have a pool of addresses, presumably allocating a unique address to each machine.

Now there's still a minute chance that it wasn't Josh, but given all the other evidence, it's seems pretty unlikely. I've PM'd the details to Whaaaaale, so it's his call I guess.

yes, that would be his fault... but to err is human, is it not? plus, if it WAS him... i doubt he will try something like that again now after this!

EDIT-sniped, but i rest my case... give him one more chance... like i said, i douubt he will try anything like that again if it indeed was him, if anything ban him a month or something... that would be an even better solution

Aya sent me a trace of all posts today. I've deleted the IP address for privacy reasons but I double checked and it's the same IP Address for Josh, Ilikefire, and mos_magik (his MC account Ip.)

You say oh but what if this person, who is in the library...who found the unclosed window knew how to play minecraft? The chances of that are slim...also why would that person proceed to make an account on LBPC to try and 'frame' Josh?

Oh don't tell me josh forgot to close minecraft and close lbpc after he finished using his computer in a library. So some random in the library went on the computer, knew how to play minecraft burned the tree down and nothing else..not even my WOODEN HOUSE right next to it.

Then suddenly decided to make an account on LBPC a website he just randomly found and post a picture...(he magically knew that the server that he burned the tree down on was the LBPC server..)
