Very quiet recently. Well I thought with the upcoming update I will make a Let's Play series I don't know if anyone else here has made one but could you give me some guidance on what length my videos should be, what recording software to use, what compressor should I use basically everything...

Also I'm pretty sure you don't need to download the new launcher...it's only when the update comes that you need to I think...

For a texture pack I recommend Jolicraft and the Lucid Pack

I'm using a mixture of both but mainly the Jolicraft pack..I edited the lighting as well to make it a tad brighter on my computer it just seemed really dark.

EDIT: Apparently the update is coming tomorrow...hopefully it's good.

Dont worry whale you can change the lighting somewhere in the options ....serverup?....or do you neeed to upgrade stuff

* Implemented a new lighting engine with the help of MrMessiahs (can be turned off)

* Changed the options around, added a new “Graphics options” button

* Added beds. If all players in a map sleeps in a bed during night, the game immediately skips until morning

* Added three new half-size blocks

* Added Delay/Repeater redstone dust blocks

* Added whitelisting to the server. To use, enter “whitelist ” where cmd is “on”, “off”, “add ”, “remove ”, “list” or “reload”

* New save file format, old maps need to be converted (that might take a while..)

* It’s now possible to have more than five save slots, and to rename saves

* Scrollbars in both the texture pack list, and in the map selection screen

* Replaced the Mojang splash image to reflect the new logo colors

Is anyone having difficulty logging in with the new launcher?

I'm using the old one as the new launcher isn't working for me..not really a big deal though.

Also started a new world for the update it's pretty awesome...

Minecraft is really a wonderful and awesome game. i am so attract by its artificial structure. in this game the water show is dynamic and interesting. this game is also offer tends of single player mode. this is really enjoyable and fantastic game with best features and functions.
