Ps3 question

If connecting online on a ps3, do we need a wired modem or can we just use a router and connect wirelessly ? Just wanted to know.sorry if i posted in the wrong forum.

nys is right. if the psp can do it in 2004 then why not ps3 2006? (except the psp doesn't uses wires obviously) internet browser is good except for youtube. (it's really blurry when you have a 60 inch screen tv and worse for anything bigger than a 60 inch) the ps3 can do flash obviously. psp can do that too but it's a super weak flash. you can barely find any flash games for psp. Anyway back on track. umm... the only thing you would really need it for is online gaming and playstation plus. go nuts.

No, you just need either an Ethernet cable for wired internet (which I don't suggest), or a router for wireless internet (which I suggest). It's totally up to you, but with a router, you can also provide Wi-Fi to devices that can't be wired to an Ethernet cable. The Playstation+ system just gives you more stuff online (like free games), which couldn't be achieved without Playstation+.

no. plystation plus is just a nice little thing to have. you get discounts, cloud save storage, and get into specific betas.
