A Carnival Of Madness

Okay, so I have a lot of projects on the go, but this one I'm really dedicated and excited about. So it's a movie series and it's original. We are introduced to the ringmaster Ernie Smarts who is in charge, right from the start we can see something is strange about this circus. In the crowd there is a young boy and his girlfriend. The young boy is training to be a tight-rope walker and goes to the circus to catch a glimpse of the action. But all of the performers are mad, some are crazy experiments of Ernie, others are just hell-bent on destruction and are crazy themselves. So here is the cast and their bio's :

Ernie Smarts: "Crazy and odd, this sparkly man is the owner and ringleader of a wacky circus. Recruiting mental performers to join in his idea of 'a great show', labeling his show "The Show Nobody Saw" as a subtle hint, that no-one alive has seen the show. He is rather oblivious to the goings-on out-with his own messed up world."



Bernie (The Clown): "Not your everyday funny clown. Bernie is homicidal and psychopathic. He is outrageously destructive and has become obsessed with his clown act"



Butch "Butch is the strongest and biggest 'performer' who is Bernie's thug. Whatever Bernie wants done, Butch will do it. Like the stereotype, Butch isn't very bright. He is an experiment of Bernie's, Bernie being intelligent found a way to make, the once small and innocent Butch, huge and destructive."



Edward Fallow (The Fly): Edward had a dream of being able to fly, so when Ernie offered him the chance he was delighted to accept it. Ernie Stitched wings onto Edward and replaced his eyes with buttons, to create a 'human fly' the buttons adding to the bug effect. In the process Ernie created a monster who became maddened by his new look"



Zed: Zed is a robot made from a once live man. One of Ernies experiment."



Trisha and Sam Villkar (The Gymnasts): These two twins are agile and are considered very annoying. Again, messed up by Ernie he made them the most agile and quick performers on the planet. Always found together."



Michael Ford: Our hero, Michael. Has hopes of being a tight-rope walker, and has a love for the circus. His tight-rope passion has made him brave. He is a teen, but still very intelligent. His charm and good nature got him a girlfriend."



Eliott Turner: Michael's girlfriend, also a teen and also intelligent. Sometimes has to stop Michael from doing stupid things, which he puts down to bravery. She has been going out with him for a year and on their anniversary she agrees to go to the circus with him. Although she hates the circus."



Randy Smith: "An experiment of Ernie's but he managed to escape. Leaving him missing an eye, he covers it with an eye-patch. Even though he escaped he follows the circus in the shadows hoping for a chance to get back at Ernie for what he did to him."

Costumes and stories look great, but you sort of gave away what I can only imagine is a big reveal.

I love this type of stuff in LBP! Story driven movie series...pretty much my favorite thing.
I've got the prologue queued. I seriously can't wait.

Cool series. Reminds me kind of Oz: The Great and Powerful, coming out next year.
