It has just been announced on the LittleBigPlanet Twitter page that there is going to be a contest on which you can win a LittleBigPlanet rare cap! To all american folks, this cap is already avalabile for you under the name of "Qore Cap" and is earned by buying the Qore Episode No. 24. So, if you happen to be a sad european folk that never got a cap (like me ) or just one of them american folks that just happened to be out of money rejoice! To obtain a cap you must take a screenshot of your sackboy wearing the spacesuit before Monday and post it on @LittleBigPlanet Twitter Page! The entries will be put in a Lucky Draw and 15 LBP2 users will get a chance to obtain it as well, and 15 LBP Vita users will have a chance to get it. If you own both, you can post photos with both to double your winning chances! Wish you luck everybody!

Nope, EU doesn't have Qore. Plus, even here in NA, the SackCap from that Qore episode is expired.

This is the only way to get one now, and I want one!

It actually isn't expired, they say it's gone but it's not, but I downloaded it before the expiration date, so that might be a factor. But yea I downloaded it again like a month or 2 ago and downloaded the cap on a few other accounts of mine.

The Qore Cap offer is still avalabile, the reason it is called 'rare' it's because not many people know about it

Then since you didn't buy it again and you just redownloaded it and you purchased it before the expiration day, that doesn't prove that it's still out there...

Steven Isbell said this on his Twitter profile. This means for us that are out of their awesomeness supply will still have another chance of obtaining the cap, full details coming later this day.

You don't have to wait for us to announce a contest to have a chance of winning one.

If you Tweet us some awesome artwork or something else that otherwise catches our eye, there's a chance that we may just send a LittleBigPlanet Cap your way.

When we introduced the LittleBigPlanet Cap to Twitter.

The last random award was given to somebody that did an amazing job of recreating some of the LittleBigPlanet Karting karts in LittleBigPlanet 2.

That's what I said in my 1st post

As far as anybody knows, you can still buy the Qore episode on North American PSN and grab the hat from the episode's download list. There's no reason to think otherwise until somebody buys the episode and cannot receive the hat or the episode is no longer on the PlayStation Store at all. The option won't magically go away: somebody at Sony Computer Entertainment America would have to intervene to stop it. As long as they leave it alone, it'll keep doing what it's been doing.

There are confirmed cases of people getting the hat after the supposed May 2011 deadline. It may not be guaranteed, but it has definitely worked for them and there's no sign of things being changed. If somebody did download the episode and could not get the hat, we would probably hear them raging about it, right?

Having said that, winning the hat for Twitter excellence should be much more fun than merely throwing three dollars at SCEA.

I must download space suit and make photo of me in space suit and place it on that lbp twitter account to win that rare qore cap but the fact that the space suit is available for free makes me very happy i must buy it now before it"s expired !!

I tried winning a cap back a while back when they were offering them up for creating awesome Lists. I thought for sure my List would earn me a cap... I'm giving it another go this weekend. I posted this pic via Twitter in hopes of earning myself a cap!
