I've tried to create a whole new experience with this level. The gameplay mechanic is simple. You are a hanging type thingy on a track and you have to manage your swing and judge jumps. Then with the touch and tilt functionality of the vita I added another layer to the gameplay, which flows really well with the theme.
Feedback is much appreciated, sorry I didn't write much I'm really bad at selling my own levels![]()

Great level Jack!!

Loved all the original ideas you threw in here.
I was hoping for a new platformer from you, but this will keep me satisfied.
The gameplay was fun. Using the controlinator and juggling tilt, front, and rear touch, is tricky. Some parts took some time to get through, but I enjoyed every minute of it.
I have never played a level like this ever on lbp. And that is awesome. I am always down for something completely new and unique. And this was.
I like the art design you came up with. Very simplistic, but effective. Materials showcased your level designs more than stickers and decorations, and I liked that.
Overall, this level was top notch fun!!
Hearted for the originality!

I also played this level yesterday, and really, really enjoyed it!
My only gripe was the lower frame rate at times*. Still the level is very much playable and highly enjoyable as well
Spoiler - minor
The moment you touch-spring the contraption into a 360 degree spin made me "lol"

A definite must-play!
*Have you looked into applying some of the techniques from the Optimisation Tutorials in the game?Last edited by Slaeden-Bob; 11-17-2012 at 12:52 PM. Reason: degrees are hard...

Looks like a really great level! Queued right away! Best luck in the competition!

Hey! I'm back with a little review! I've been away from the review-world for some time, but this so deserves it!
PRESENTATION
The level thread was really original and complete. The photos were awesome, and it makes this level a must-queue one. My only complain is the level badge. Before you play it you have no idea of what it is, and even after you do it, still it seems empty. Remember a good level badge is a MUST in every level!
LEVEL
I fell in love with this level. The amount of originality, the attention to detail, the awesomesauce graphics. Everything! From start to finish, you have a smartly designed level that is full of great obstacles.
One of the things I liked the most from this is that you were not afraid to make it a little challenging. That really made me like it even more.

Heh, funny thing. We're both using a ball as our main character for our entries in LBLV1.
Now, to the touch and tilt implementations. The touch obstacles were brilliant. Not a single one felt repeated or stolen from Story mode, and you used it in many really original ways, I guess that's why you're called Original Creator
!
I felt the tilt aspect was lacking this level a bit. I can only recall two sections of the level which had minor tilt gameplay. At first I thought the ball was controlled by tilt, which would have been good for the theme, but I guess it could've become too frustrating.

Seriously, this level is so good I can already smell the Team Pick. And, oh, can I smell those things. I wouldn't mind this level get first place or at least a runner-up in LBLV1. (As long as you leave me some space in the podium
)
THE GRADES
Gameplay 4.5/5 My only complain was that it was very frequent to get stuck ball-and-sack in the same line. Adding a proper self-destruct botton would have been nice.
Graphics 4/5 They were different to the traditional stuff, but they were great. I loved the use of the background. People should learn from this. The background must not necessarily be hidden!
Sounds 4/5 Good use of them, the music choice was good as well.
Overall 4/5 A definite winner! Seriously, best luck in the competition! I can't understand those people who enter a competition and then play other entries just too rate them down. What the sack, yayed and hearted! You seem like an awesome creator as well, so there you go, creator heart as well! Hope to see much more from you dude!

First off thanks for the amazing feedback it's the most detail feedback I've ever received

I really struggle with making level badges as you can probably tell from my other two levels, they are consistently awful. I'll try make a better logo and implement it once the lbpv1 results are in I don't want to get disqualified
Thanks it's great to know that you liked the visuals, Ik I'm not the best at visuals I try to make it not look awful

This means so much to me I really strive to have all my gameplay unique, as when I play a level I like to play brand new gameplay I'm not to fussed about the visuals. Yeah I'm sorry about the lack of tilt gameplay, I had more motifs made but I just didn't have enough time to detail them as I thought the deadline was later than it actually was so I had to panic and rush the end of the level leaving a series of bugs and little tilt gameplay im gonna extend on the leek once the results are in.

Thanks! Best of luck in the contest as well the competition is really tough I have no idea who's going to win

looks and sounds cool, queued!
edit:
My comments after playing
I thought this was an ingenious game! i really loved the concept of the hanging basket type contraption, and the different gameplay elements involving the touch scree. I would have liked slightly more use of the tilt, but otherwise i think you made a really sweet level using two of the coolest features on the vita.
There were certain times where i got stuck for a while (one part in which i had to press a button that dropped me onto another platform was particularly frustrating) but i was paying very late at night so i wont hold that against you.
Also, i enjoyed the theme and design of the level aswell, really reminded me of old fashioned fun fair coasters.
Thumbs up and you got a yay from me

I got to try this level out the other day! Fantastic stuff man. Awesome theme as well.
There was a good variety of gameplay in there and you did a very good job combining them and keeping things interesting. I don't have anything else to add that others haven't already said other than a pat on the back for a job well done. Good luck in the contest!Follow me on Twitter: @Cubixphere
