Honestly, I have no idea what you're even talking about now. You've taken the one part of my evidence that I admitted I was confused about and have attempted to prove me wrong by inventing flaws in my logic. I don't know why you acted the way you did but I have given possible reasons for it that make perfect sense. Stop trying to overcomplicated things.

I haven't seen you give any evidence to suggest that anything else I've said was wrong, and I haven't seen anything to explain why exactly you are voting for me, except that I voted for Protoraptor. I've explained my reasons for doing so countless times and you still haven't given a proper counterargument.

Gdn, please think carefully saying anything, don't just blindy follow Snipy. He hasn't given a decent shred of evidence to suggest that he is innocent or to dispute my arguments, nor has he given a reason for voting for me. If you vote for me, the mafia wins. Congratulations SnipySev and GDN001, you successfully survived the Mafia and lived to tell the tale! Everyone else, incredibly well played, I've finally run out of popcorn. The following is a reveal of all roles (including The elusive Don) and the PMs I sent out at the beginning of the game. I also used http://www.fodey.com/generators/newspaper/snippet.asp and www.chatzy.com extensively. So, without further ado...

Mafioso: You are a regular Mafia member, just trying to make a dishonest living. You have no extra roles except for Mafia related voting.
Mafia Voting: Every night you must come to a consensus as to who to vote for. A PM must then be sent to me, and I will kill that person off overnight. With voting, majority rules, so if 3 people want to vote for one person, that person will die. You can access a private Mafia chat here: ~~REDACTED~~ The password is Seems_Legit. I will be checking the chat every now and then for voting confirmation. Someone still needs to send me a PM, but I don't require PMs from all players if votes are in the chat room.
The Don: You have worked long and hard to form this Mafia, and you aren’t about to see it go down without a fight. But you're way past that fighting stage now, you run a legitamate business club, noone would ever suspect that Ted E. Bear's Mafia Free Playland and Casino could POSSIBLY be a front! As the owner of such a "Legitamate" Emporium, you have been sure not to leave a trail that would be detected by any common newspaper. Other roles may be able to detect your presence however.

The Sheriff: It’s time to cancel robbing the Pine City Stage, because you’re the new sheriff in town! Every night, using your acute mental ability (and maybe a few shots of whiskey), you’re able to discern the role of any member of the town. During the night, you will send me a PM about a particular player, and I will tell you their role. Every detail about their role will be explained (though if you have questions, you can ask and I’ll see what I can say), so there will be no doubt about what they are trying to achieve. You will have to convince the rest of the town who is trustworthy on your own, but the information might just help keep you alive.
The Serial Killer: You’ve had enough of this nonsense, you know who’s responsible and it’s time to bring Justice to them. Unfortunately for you, you only have two Justice™ brand bullets, so you have to pick your targets carefully. During the night, you can PM me the name of a member, and they will die before the morning. You can only kill two people in the entire game, so choose your targets carefully.
The Doctor: Several years in Medical School have given you the amazing ability to heal an individual from almost any wound. That and the word “Doctor” in front of your name. During the night, it is your job to attempt to protect the townspeople from death. Each night, you will PM me the name of a member who you wish to save. You may attempt to save anyone (including yourself), and they will be protected from death for that night. If you attempt to protect yourself and are attacked, you will lose your doctoring skills due to botched surgery, but your identity will not be announced in the paper.
The Private Investigator: You've seen your fair share of nasty cases like this, and you know you'll get to the bottom of this in the end. All you have to do is sit… and wait. Every night you PM me the name of a player, and you'll perform a stake out at their house. I will then report what you saw happen that night. Any actions at that location will be visible to you, but identities will not always be so clear.
The Govenor: 'Ello Guvnah! As a political powerhouse, you have some real sway in this town, and you're going to put "responsible for single handedly ending the mafia menace" right on your resume. Every day a new person is killed by an angry mob, and this kind of violence, while necessary, may kill innocents, which you won't stand for! Once during the game, you can PM me the name of a player to issue an official pardon, preventing that person from being killed via mob. If you become the victim, it is assumed that you will pardon yourself The pardon PM must be sent before the day ends, in order to get through all the red tape, and allow members to know if they still have roles at night. If there is no need for the pardon at the end of the day, you will not use your 1 vote.

Rocksauron, Lord of the Peanut: As the reigning evil overlord, you have some real political sway in this town, and it's time to show these mafia punks a lesson they won't forget! Citizens are sacrificed each day in an attempt to rid the Mafia menace, but those sacrifices should be made to you, not some dumb mafia! Once during the game, you can PM me the name of a player to issue a proclamation stopping this execution, preventing that person from being killed via mob. Unfortunately, the citizens aren't sure whether to be more afraid of you or the mafia, so you can only do this once before it loses effectiveness. If you become the victim, it is assumed that you will save yourself This PM must be sent before the day ends, in order for your lazy minions to issue your proclamation, and allow members to know if they still have roles at night. If you submit your PM early, and there is no need for the intervention at the end of the day, you will not use your 1 vote.

So, I'd just like to say, now that it's all over and done with... I could ARDly understand CogMonkey's reasoning. Why the hell would he think the mafia wants an inactive dead? It's one less potential vote against them to worry about.

For instance, imagine there were 5 people, two of them mafia. If one of the people is inactive, then it's the two mafia vs the two civilians, and its easier for the mafia to manipulate. If none of them are inactive, then its two mafia vs three civilians. They would rather kill someone who could potentially vote against them then someone who wouldn't anyway. It's why the mafia killed the active and experienced players early on- active players are a hindrance to the mafia's activity, whereas inactive are just a number that doesn't affect anything.

I am genuinely starting to wonder whether I have wandered into the wrong thread...everything you just said is my exact reasoning for voting for Proto in the first place. I kept saying over and over again than the mafia would not want to kill an inactive member for the exact reason you just posted...
