Smurfy's Hidden Object
LINK - http://lbp.me/v/kwj7q4
This level has been in the making for a long time. I'm very relieved to finally finish it. There are 9 total cities (2 in Canada and 7 in United States). If you have played the BETA version, I can guarantee you will find something new. Especially if you haven't played it in awhile. I'm proud the most of the art work. I spent a long time on each scene and there are a lot.
Screenshots
I'm not going to post a screenshot of each scene, but if you want to see all the scenes, check out this link.

Gameplay
If you have played Biggi's MM Pick's, Where's Waldo, or I Spy then you should know what to expect here. However, there are a few scenes that change up the formula. If you finish San Francisco or New York there will be a fun mini game afterwards. For example, New York has you shooting all of the aliens within the time limit. Toronto lets you change the scene from summer to winter. This completely changes the look of the scene. Washington is the most unique because the objects are invisible. By clicking x, objects will appear for 2 seconds near the cursor. You get to watch the volcano erupt in Washington too. There's too much to talk about, so I'll end it here... well I should mention the game allows up to 2 players.
Cities
San Francisco
New York
New Orleans
Pennsylvania
New Mexico
Los Angeles
Niagara Falls
Toronto
Washington
Credits
Of course, thanks to BiggiSchnupsi for coming up with the idea of making a hidden objects level. Thanks to CuriousSack, MissiCat, SoundisMe for the music. Thanks to Jonarrthon for testing my level a lot and giving me excellent feedback. And thanks to the 800 people that played the BETA version.

Thanks Schnupsi and CuriousSack

There is a lot of art work. Sometimes I wonder how much the average person sees of my game because it would take awhile to see everything lol. I'm not too much into shooter games so it's very relaxing for me to come home and make some detailed art work.
Also, I used your song you made for the Ugly Level participants in Niagara Falls CuriousSack.

This level is great! I had to see it all, because I was curious to see the next scene and what the objects would do when I found them. The bonus levels and the varied game play were a real treat.

I really enjoyed this level, I don't think I've played anything like it before.
The presentation was great, the menu is really fantastic and detailed, I especially love the book on the side.
The design for the levels was a bit confusing though
I'm not sure why LA is overrun by pirates or what the Green Lantern is doing in Toronto. But those aren't complaints by any means, just observations.
A thing I really liked was the objective variety and how picking things interacted with the environment.
Overall, a very detailec, very good level.

Thank you very much! You aren't the first person to mention the pirates confusion lol. I think I have to make it more clear in the design that it's the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Disneyland. It's too late now, but maybe I should have used part of the actual ride instead of the front of it

You got me with the Green Lantern lol. There's really no reason why he is there. I just liked his green glowing color at night time.
Thanks for playing and the great feedback!

Queued it up. Looks amazing, not sure of you're still looking for feedback, but I'll be happy to play it anyways
Feedback Time:
just so you know, I was going to write a full review but my kitten has been attacking my phone ever since I got on it, so it makes it really hard to type. So I'll just make it a quick one...
First off the menu design was great, everything worked well, although I ended up leaving the level alot because I rest my controller down on my lap, and push on the l2 and r2 buttons. Other than that I really have only one more complaint...in the Toronto scene the level glitches, saying I found all the items in winter, but in summer the far right item was still missing even though I clearly found it.
Good news is everything else about your level is fantastic, sure graphics aren't the best, but the art style fits perfectly for the type of game. Stickers seemed to 'stick' out(pun intended), but yet some how were still hard to find. Though I can't imagine playing this on a small tv! Some of the objects were so tiny...another great thing about it was the way each area had its own game play. Some areas were simple while others like Niagara falls made you find one item at a time(I think it was that one.) The areas that stood out the most to me were mountain st helens and new Mexico. They left me in awe after playing. Also I was shocked to see new York being attacked by aliens, but in a good way, and the witty banter of the news reported made it all the better. If it was a full review/feedback I would give you 4.5/5 Stars, almost perfect but not quite there. Still amazing though. And sorry again for not giving you the feedback you deserve, my kitty has now proceeded to stealing my glasses making it hard to proof read anything.

i found that level outstanding unique, loved the menu, sadly the stickers allways took time to load those bautiful szenes, maybe you could add a picture for example the city's name over it and give the stickers time to load under it and than remove it? does that even work? i had fun to search all items and it was cool to see all different systems to find them. i took the longest for the black cross from the priates. i had to change my tv's settings to find a lot of the items, i didnt see a lot of them befor. went from fun to frustration quickly, but when you finsih it it rewards you with something like a bonus game. also i had problems with the text search. the map made a cat sound and the leaf design took me like 5 to 10 clicks to get, which made me think thats not what you asked for and searched elswhere till i tried it everywhere multiple times. but i must say i saw you put a lot creativity and efford into the design.
oh and to be honest, i expected one last bonus game what sadly did not happen.
which one? when you finish finding all objects in all szenes, you need to find one balloon in each szene to get extra points, with a race again.
that is because i saw one in each level and thought that will be a come back later thing.
also i got an idea for the next level if you plan to do another one: little riddles to unlock stuff you search, for example if you search a horse you first need to put a key into a door so the door opens showing the horse behind it. or for finding a shark you need to put smaller fish into the ocean. or to find a hammer you need to open a workers tool box, which you than use to break a window to get stuff what was behind it. but thats just silly x3 ignore me heh.
nice level :3Last edited by ForcesWerwolf; 07-20-2014 at 10:12 PM.

I really like your ideas for my next level. I've been trying to make each hidden objects games of mine better than last one I did. That seems like the next step to make it more like a puzzle game. Also, instead of doing 9 individual scenes like this level, I want to make 1 very long scene that goes on a long ways. Anyways, I'm definitely going to take a break from creating. Maybe until lbp 3 releases

I totally forgot about the balloons lol. I was going to do something with them, but it totally slipped my mind. You're right. There is a balloon in every scene. Maybe a couple scenes don't have 1, but there was going to be a big bonus for finding all of them.
Also, thanks for the feedback! That's unfortunate that you had to change the settings on your tv. I'll move the black cross. It probably wasn't smart putting a black cross over a black background. The leaf design is very easy to find, but the problem might be it doesn't look like a leaf design. For New Mexico I tried to make it easier with lights. The objects that you have to find brighten by 30 percent when the light appears near it.

Yes, I like the ideas too!
And the fact, that You make each hidden Object level better, puts me under pressure, my dear!
But wait, I have something special for MY NEXt one .... hrhr

I can't wait
Your story idea was great from your last level.
Whenever I do the next level, I already picked out the theme. It's going to be the fantasy edition... dragons, spiral mountains, kingdoms, swamp lands. I'm going to wait until lbp 3. Maybe there will be something that is perfect for hidden object levels

Really stumbled into a real gem with this one. It has a great artistic style, which I could look at for some time. Its obvious a lot of time and effort has gone into creating this masterpiece. San Francisco and New York are particularly beautiful, San Francisco with its lovely warm colours and New York for its cartoony comic book style.
The actual gameplay is unique and different. I know this isn't the first level that features gameplay similar to this, but as the first experience of which for me it really blew me away. The entire level has a relaxed tone. I especially liked how the stages had a different sort of variation of the central gameplay mechanic. The bonus stages were also fun, and offered something new.
Overall a great level. I'd love if you can leave me some feedback for my own level, http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/sho...elunker-Bunker
