    Default Neon Dimension 3

Is it ready? Really? I mean it DID work last night but then- oh, okay, gotcha.

So! First of all, hooray - LBPCentral is back up and running once again! And now that it's ready for thread consumption, I no longer have to keep my level in the dark. So here it goes:

Neon Dimension 3 is my first LBP3 level that I have published about 2 weeks ago. It's also potentially my best level, as it improves on almost every single aspect. The gameplay is more creative, the visuals have leveled up, and I also manage to try out things that I have never done before in my previous levels (powerup creator, boss battles, etc.).

Everything you need to know is in the lbp.me link: https://lbp.me/v/qw1gwcw/trailer?p=1&l=12

As always, feedback is always appreciated. This level has been growing strong and is nearing 1000 plays so keep it up!Also forgive my thread for being so unorganized. Been off of LBP forums I've lost my touch, haha.

  2. Thanks!

Bravoo! This level is fantastic! The neon style is ingenious, the gameplay superb! Sometimes I had the feeling that I got stuck in a deadlock and when I tried it a second time suddenly there has been another way! Your level is not easy, and I didn't reach the end, but I will try it once again and I can only recommend your level to our community! Don't miss it, its grandiose!

    Many greetings, Jürgen^^

This is a very long level, quite challenging and visually exciting! I'm fairly certain I played one of your other levels, because this seems very familiar, except for the addition of the powerup. That wall-sliding section near the end was a little frustrating, I could not see the pattern in the plasma flames so I got killed there a lot. The ending was a little confusing, just a little different than the rest of the level, but quite doable.

  6. Thanks!

An interesting level! I didn't make it all the way through because it glitched out on me, but I had fun while it lasted. I liked how everything was animated throughout with lots of noises. Great stuff!
I don't just review, I make levels too!

The plasma flames are powered via Randomizer, so maybe that's the problem there.

Also, what was it that made the ending confusing? Did the platform not launch you high enough to hit the button up top?

Could you possibly let me know exactly where the level glitched out on you? It would make things easier for me, as well as making it convenient for everyone else!

I don't have any screencaps, but I entered a room with what looked like a Custom Powerup pedastal. However, there was no powerup associated with it, and I remained stuck in the room without an exit.

Hmm... if it's what I assume you're talking about, then you should be describing a Zone. If the pedestal was green, all you have to do is equip the Neon Blaster (sackpocket), then things should get set in motion.

Talking about these issues easily point out the flaws in my level, and I'm glad people are being open about them.
