    Default Need some "ice traps" ideas

    Ok, so currently i'm working of the 2nd part of my series of "Yaru's Fortress" levels. This one is an Ice themed level that i've been working on for a while but now i've run out of ideas for ice traps, so i was wondering if anyone had any good ones i could implement.
    Also, i published some of what i got so far if anyone wants to check it out to have a better idea on what i'm looking for.(Just search for "Yaru's")
    Keep in mind my levels are meant to be challenging, and stick purely to their theme so no other hazard are implemented other than the main one.

    Well, if you are doing ice theme, I would stick with glass, electricity and some sort of bluish stone materials.

    you can do a lot of electric traps that are related to glass... My lost Under Glass level, while not ice themed, was ice inspired.

    Thx, but i want to stick to "ice"(glass) only, or deadly snow like the one already in the level For example, Might not be glass yet it looks like snow (or at least its supposed to resemble it).

    A lake that starts cracking as you walk over it, and you have to run and jump over the lake to get to the other side (could potentially have holes in the ice, snow piles etc to jump over.

    Stalactites from the ceiling.

    Sled sequence

    use decorations to make a snow man, that then opens the door for you?

    A heater used to melt away ice

    etc.etc.etc. Also, I'd use:

    Glass
    Snow (sponge)
    Rough Stone bricks
    Darkmatter
    Dissolve
    Possibly rusty metal

    -Don't make it all just glass, level will look like crap.

    Yeah, i know not to do The level completly of glass, altho it is supposed to be more like a challenge level i do try to decorate it.
    Right now i nonly have problems thinking up of traps.
    i've already implemented something like what you said at first.
    But i do like that icicle idea
